Samsung 5-Feet Micro-USB Charging Data Cable for Samsung Micro USB Phones - Non-Retail Packaging - Black

Got this because regular micro USBs don't allow charging fast enough to even keep up with the drainage while device is on. Although there's no label on the cord, it does appear to be a Samsung and performs as well as the original cord and does allow the tab to gain charge even while being used with wifi and apps running. Exactly what I was looking for. And it does appear to fit snugly.Heads up, though: I'm not sure this could be used as a micro USB for other devices: the micro end appears to have only 4 pins, not the 5 you see on others (pin 4 appears to be missing). That may be why this works on Samsungs and other cables don't but be careful if you use it on some device other than a Samsung - not sure what that could do to other equipment.

This is not acknowledged by my computer or even my car charger to charge. I currently have a USB cable that works on my computer, and thought I would buy another in case my only one fails. I know how a USB cable is supposed to behave when attached to a laptop and not only does this one not acknowledge my phone as USB connection, it does not even charge the phone. The extra cheap price makes it ridiculous to return. Live and learn, sometimes you really do get what you pay for. They say it is Samsung but it looks like a generic product to me. It does not have the sticker as shown in the photo. I am looking at my current USB cable from the original phone and it does have the sticker and it works like it should. Do not waste your money!

Yup, it's a charging cable all right. Seems to work, and recharges quickly when connected to a high-amp charger. That's what I wanted when I ordered it, and that's what I got.

It's okay. My fault for not paying attention...I thought it was a one piece charger. It is what the add said though. Nothing wrong with item and works good.

Good product but needs to be longer

I love shopping Amazon for my cell phone accessory needs. My husband needed a new cord for his tablet and I appreciate that I don't have to go spend an arm and a leg at the big box store that jacks up the prices on this type of thing.

cable is sturdy, long enough and fits the phones port exactly. charges the phone fast.

I purchased two of these charging cables. They work fine except that a component fell out of the charging end Making it useless. This is poor quality control.
