Works great!
I love to get bulk bagels and I use this to cut them in half without the worry of me slicing off one of my fingers.

Easy to store
Wide for multiple sizes of bread. However, knife can cut and split the grooves which is expected because it's wood. Nice to easily slice bread.

It's an OK slicing guide
I liked the idea of having a bread slicing guide for bread made in my Dash bread machine. https://www.amazon.com/Everyday-Stainless-Programmable-Automatic-Dispenser/dp/B08NN9FGK6/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3A9FPTSSXT33T&keywords=dash+bread+maker&qid=1666098346&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIxLjcxIiwicXNhIjoiMS42NiIsInFzcCI6IjAuODYifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=Dash+bread+%2Caps%2C147&sr=8-2&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.006c50ae-5d4c-4777-9bc0-4513d670b6bcUnfortunately for me I cannot seem to read dimensions that were clearly displaying on the product page and my loaf was too wide for this slicer. OK, my mistake. So, I cut one side off the loaf to fit into this guide. That's where the fun begins.Pros:1. It is collapsible2. It's made from renewable bamboo3. It has a crumb trayCons:1. When slicing, your bread knife will score the bamboo bottom if you aren't careful. So, if you have a thicker crust bead, you may want to be aware of this.2. It's flimsy - When collapsing the slicer, one end popped out and for the life of me (and my spouse) the only way we could put the peg back in the hole was to break/cut something. Was it worth it? Not for me, but I am not saying it won't work for you. I would not buy this again since it doesn't fit my needs.

The knife slots are too big.
This device is really cool. It folds up and stores neatly and is easy to clean. I recommend placing a small cutting board inside to prevent slicing up the device itself. The downside is, the slots for the knife are too big. This allows too much play in the positioning of the blade, and varies the thickness of the bread. If the slots were only wide enough for a blade, then the slices of bread would be uniform. It works with a little practice.

Good guidance for slicing bread
If not careful you can scrape some wood along with the slice of bread.

Wonderful for bread makers
I love this product! I make bread 1-3 times a week for sandwiches or dinners or potlucks or whatever. I use a bread machine since I'm making bread so often but the loaves are so big a standard bread slicer won't do. This fits the bill. It's large enough to hold a large loaf. Even if it's a weird size when I bake them freehand. It's long enough to deal with baguettes. The base is sturdy and the whole thing looks pretty. My only recommendation when buying this is that it's very very wide. You will need a long knife to cut the bread without hitting the spines

Wish it was wider
Bought this to slice sourdough and it works fine as long as the sourdough is too wide/big.

Does the job
Easy to use and makes for good even slices of bread. I could use a longer knife so I don’t hit the edges so much when slicing but it works well and stores easily.

Smart and stylish. Big!
The media could not be loaded. Good crumb tray. Takes a while to get used to it. You need to hold the loaf firmly against the wood nearest you. The knife doesn’t reach far slots as too wide for bread from my bread maker. If you left and right handed people in the household then you keep needing to turn it around!

Good but not Great
It is a really good product I love it. But it could be better. First (and this is not a flaw of the product) it work better with a long bread knife. If you use with a "normal length" bread knife you risk to slide it out of the slot and hit the thin bamboo spacer on your way back... risking to break it. The slots have 3 different thickness. This mean if you want to cut a full bread you need to remove the slices , move the bread forward and continue cutting every 3 ish slices. Because it's all in soft wood (bamboo) that mean the knife tend to dig deep in the "cutting plane" leaving big mark. All in all I love it, but I wish it was slightly different.

Average quality
Probably too expensive for the quality of the product

NOT Durable
I had this for about 2 weeks before it began falling apart. It is very cheaply constructed. The "nails, with which the sidebars are attached to the bottom crumb tray, are more like staples. On top of that they BARELY penetrate the sides of the crumb tray. While it still functions without the piece, many crumbs fall out onto the counter, as only one side of the tray exists, thus defeating the entire purpose of a crumb tray. I would NOT recommend this poorly assembled item!
