Awesome rod.
Bought for cat fishing because I love the cork handle 2 piece ugly stik aesthetic. Really responsive rod that I think is more well suited for lures. I currently run a large slip bobber setup on it and absolutely love it.

Solid Ugly Stick
This is a tough rod. I really like Ugly Sticks and this one is quite nice. Lots of backbone with a very soft tip. It's heavy though, approximately twice the weight of some other rods of the same size.

Salmon rod
Very sturdy product at a good price. I wanted something for a budget rod without spending too much but was a good quality. This fit that. Happy with my purchase.

Great rod, can’t find a case for it.
The bottom guide is so big I can’t fit this in any of the cases I find. Otherwise, a great rod!

Fish on!
Short review...The rod is great.... I mean for this price you can find anything better.I went to the store and tried all those fancy rods double the price and so on... yes the fancy ones are lighter BUT surprisingly this one has a sensitive tip. To compensate the weight i went with HSX 40 reel. I am sure penn 4000 will be just as good. I fish in fast rivers using a 3/8 OZ rooster tail most of the time just because it works the best for me and I could feel every single movement of the lure. The moment I hit the bottom and so on.My buddy got the x11 rod with a penn 4000 and that felt great too but the rod was a little on the soft side and I dont like that... especially when using spinners on a fast river.This rod.... I am not afraid to be rough with, drop it on the ground or whatever... if you brake it which idk how you would that but if you do I am sure you can afford another one.(To the person that wrote a review about braking it on a 5 pound salmon.... dude you just caught a rock!!!! Hahaha.. newbie... my buddy kept freaking out that he caught something every single time when the current takes for a ride the spinner. Suggestion... you need more practice and finesse)I took that baby out in 10 seconds... and the rod handled it like a champ!I hope this will help a lot of people that wonder what to go with...Fish on!!Good luck to everyone!

Long Island Sound Shore Casting
8ft6in heavy 2 piece. Used for Saltwater shorecasting the long island sound. Hauled a 21.5" Tautog out of the rocks just fine. Sensitive tip and a strong spine. Very satisfied. Casts well.

I am unhappy about the delivery. Mssing other half of the rod. This order order supposed to come with two pieces complete rod and only show one piece
