Our Own Candle Company Smell My Nuts Novelty Scented Mason Jar Candle

This company is AMAZING!! I have bought their candles for years from boutique shops and loved them so much. However, I purchased one on Amazon and it only burned half way and stopped :( I was so upset but I contacted the company and they explained they had a bad batch that only burned half way and send me a replacement immediately!! I am so impressed!! I will continue to buy their candles as they are high quality and smell Amazing!!

Loved the name of the candle. Was actually buying as a joke for a friends 50th birthday party. Two days later she called me and asked me where I had purchased the candle from. She wanted to order one or two more. She said they smelled delightful (as she chuckled) I told her Amazon and the following day I decided to order one up for my wife. Then my OCD kicked when it was time place my order. Do I pay $11.99 for the 18.5oz and order one or pay 13.97 for two of the 13.5oz size? 18.5oz=$11.99 - 27oz=$13.97. After struggling through it I ordered the two 13.5oz jars. Being a prime member they arrived quickly. When I gave them to my wife and she asked what are these for, I said just because. She and I were totally in love with the scent. The smell went through out our entire lower level of our home and was very delightful. When company stopped by, many of times our friends asked us what scent that was and we simply told them to read the jar. Oh boy, the fun we had with that! In ending this candle has a wonderful, delightful aroma that fills a decent size entire level of a home. One way to explain it is you get that "whats baking in the oven, it smells so good" effect. I have ordered many more of these in the 13.5oz size for the family and as gifts. The receivers just laugh so hard when they see the candle but are always delightfully surprised when they burn it for the first time. As I said I like the 13.5oz size over the 18.5oz. The 13.5oz jar has a handle and looks nicer and is more cost efficient. Buy this candle in the 2 pack option, you will not be disappointed :)

My sister loves candles that smell like food. I love candles that smell like flowers. As I was browsing candles online, "Smell My Nuts" popped up. I thought it was hilarious, so I read the description. It sounded like the perfect gift for my sister, because it IS hilariously funny, but yet something she would LOVE! It arrived quickly and was packaged perfectly! It's very sturdy and designed to be safe to ship long distances when gifted. I was already impressed! BUT WHEN I SMELLED IT...*eyeballs roll back in their sockets in sheer delight!* I This candle smells so amazing! It immediately knocks you off your feet with the most incredible fragrance of Banana Nut Bread, Toasted Coconut, and Hazelnut! Now I have to buy one for myself, in a floral scent. My expectations are high, but I'm not scared! OH! My sister loved it!

I got this candle as a birthday gift from my mother in law, who has an extremely great sense of humor. This review is coming from someone who is an avid candle and wax melt collector, so I'm pretty picky when it comes to scent, throw and burn time as well as looks. This candle is in a cute little handled mason jar with a plastic protective ring around the wick, and a metal lid. Of course I had to burn it right away, so I trimmed the wick (very important!! cannot stress enough, keep your candle wicks trimmed low always to avoid black soot deposit and too-high flame!) and then I fired it up. In comparison to my usual candles (Bath and Body Works or Yankee with the occasional Target or Walmart mixed in) this smells very similar to several BBW candles I own (fall scents)...the smell is indeed very nutty, and aromatic with notes of caramel, vanilla, and spice. Personally I don't get any hints of coconut or banana yet, but I have only burned it a few hours. The throw is pretty good, but definitely not as good as some Yankee or BBW candles I own, more comparable to the $10-$12 range candles at Target perhaps. I have burned this in my kitchen first (which is open to my living/dining area) so the throw wasn't incredibly noticeable unless I was actually in the kitchen. When I burned it in my living room, I was able to smell it when I walked into the room from upstairs so that was good. Overall, I think I will still continue to be faithful to my BBW candles, even though they are more expensive it's just my preference I guess. I do feel the scent throw of some other candles I own are better than this one, but like I said it was a gift and it does smell good, just not as potent as I am used to perhaps. For the price they are asking for this, I do think the quality is comparable as I said before to a $10-$12 soy candle elsewhere, I think I've been spoiled by other brands though! If you are thinking of giving this as a gift, I'd say go for it, the name is witty and the smell is nice, I may just be a candle snob when it comes to potency.

This is an old family favorite. I've bought a few of them over the years, and they always smell amazing. The throw of the scent is phenomenal, and I'm a big scent person, I've tried so, so many, and this scent is just amazing, warm, cozy, comforting, and familiar. It's particularly nice in the fall and winter, but really I'd use it any time of year. I personally love the hilarious name of the candle too. It's definitely a conversation starter and makes people laugh. I hope they never change it. They make great gifts too just as long as you remove the black plastic piece that's intended to hold the wick in place beforehand or at least warn your recipient to remove it before burning the candle.

I have purchased these candles several times and love them! They smell so rich! Great value as these candles burn slowly and evenly.

This is my most talked about candle! My most complimented candle! My favorite candle! If I could eat it-- I would! The hilarious random laughter that comes from the bathroom whenever I have guests over never gets old, and then I hear them shout, "Smell your nuts?" They ask, "what is that scent?" I reply simply, "smell my nuts". I love the mason jar and funny label. You have to trim the wick. I mean hello, you're lighting this thing on fire, but do you reallyyyy want it to catch on fire, no. So trim the dang wick. Other than that the scent is strong enough to cover the strongest of #2 odors and nuttily perfumes my whole apartment and wafts into the hallway! Love it. Can't wait to repurchase.

Just a bit of good fun, and smells pretty great as a bonus!

We use this in the bath and the scent reaches the bedroom and living room, a great product! Great value for money.

Probably the best smelling candle I've ever owned, got one for a gift years ago and just had to buy a second when I saw it on here. Lasts a very long time, and then you're left with an awesome beer mug. Win win.
