Love it!!!
I LOVE this camera! But watch out for a price change, when I got it this was almost $85, now its only $69! I got this camera in mint, and honestly it doesnt look exactly like any of the pictures color wise, its definitely not the second picture, more of a combination of the first and the third, but its really a beautiful color. It was easy enough to figure out the instructions, a lot of it was in japanese but there was a big section with pictures in English, but read the instructions carefully! Put the batteries in before the film (I made this mistake) and make sure the batteries are in the correct + - spots (I also made this mistake) but once its up and going its awesome! The lighting for the pictures took a bit of time for me to figure out (I wasted 2 pictures, ugh) but usually it will place the light on whichever one it needs and you just turn the dial on the one where the light is. The pictures are always beautiful and high quality (as long as the lighting is correct and you dont shake the camera too much while taking it of course) and this camera is just all around amazing, I bring it everywhere with me. The main difference between the mini 8 and the mini 8+ is there is a tiny mirror on the rim just outside of the lens that you can see yourself in if you want to take a selfie. Even though the mirror is small its actually very helpful and usefull, definitely worth the extra couple of dollars (because if you're going to spend this much on one of these babies you might as well get the highest quality one with all the bells and whistles) All in all this is an amazing camera, I love love love it and you will too! Its so much better having actual pictures of moments than just ones on your phone. You won't regret this purchase!!

I love it!
This camera is too cute!!!!I remember always wanting a Polaroid camera when I was little! Never got one! Then I got regular cameras l, digital cameras, phone cameras... Completely forgot about it and then I saw the Instax 8!Omg!!!!!This is soooo cute! It almost looks like a toy!!! LolI basically got the international version because of the color! I like this strawberry pink much better than the other pink! And I was right! It's so pretty!!!!Also the strap that comes with the international version is SO much better and cuter than the one that comes with the one sold in the states!Everything that comes with it is in Japanese, BUT there are instructions in English so don't worry!Just make sure you look for it on the white panflet with the black letters! In the box, as you can see in the picture, came the camera of course lol, 2 AA batteries, one close up lens (it snaps on very easily) a very colorful panflet in Japanese with instructions and pictures. And a couple more panflets. The camera is actually pretty straight forward to use but if you are still uncertain of what to do, check YouTube. There are quite a few instructional videos out there!!!!I got the camera just yesterday so I'll probably update this related to durability after a few months of use, but really ht now I'd say get! It's the coolest thing ever and Amazon has one of the best prices I've seen!!!!!!

Super cute: great memory-making tool, film is NOT included
So so so so CUTE! I almost got the honey one instead, but cocoa is so warm and lovely... The set-up is quite simple; the instructions packet is written in Japanese on one side and English on the other. YouTube videos are also available if you need help with taking the photos; even if they're for the international versions (Mini 8, which is different from this product, the Mini 8+), the set-up and actual use is the same. I think this is only 8+ because it has a selfie-mirror on the lens barrel and the close-up lens are included already. I also appreciate the color choices for this Mini 8+ set more than those of its predecessor. Just remember that the film develops in _darkness_; avoid shaking the film when it's still developing! The tricky part is centering the lens onto the subject so you don't get an angled photo and produce excess negative space. Practice and YouTube videos/googling can help with this. Keep in mind that whatever ISN'T captured by the flash is darkness, haha, meaning that your backgrounds will likely be black. I've never used instant film cameras before, so this was new to me. This can also only work in close-range (about 1-1.5 ft). Of course, the product's cuteness and instant gratification of getting hard copies of your photos outweighs the slight difficulty of using this camera. It's a great product! Oh, and any case that works with the Mini 8 will fit the Mini 8+ as well. Check the reviews of whatever case you're looking at to verify this, but I'm almost certain that my statement is correct!
