Have had terrible problems with clogged downpipes on my balcony. These are great for trapping a whole raft of things that would otherwise clog the downpipe.one word of warning. Over time the trappings built up and became a base for an impromtu mini weed garden over time. However it was easy to remove in one go and place a new one. These are cheap enough that replacing once a year isnt an issue

Opened the package and thought these are huge they’ll never fit! How wrong was I? The guy that cleaned the gutters popped them in with no problem and commented and how good they were!

Used to place in top of gutter downpipes to keep leaves out. Flexible and easy to fit, perfect for our needs.

Easy to fit, very affordable, but it sat too low in our drainpipe gutter so the debris from the roof (mostly moss residue) soon clogged it up after a couple of downpours. I have since replaced them with a bigger equivalent that sits higher ........ I am probably getting a bit more residue flowing down the drain into the soakaways but I don't think its a significant amount and I clean out the gutter much less frequently ....... not every 2 weeks like before.

I would not suggest them. Are very big and also do not fit well in the holem better to get the small ones.

Doesn't fit, doesn't work, cheap plastic. Obtrusive and will just block leaves etc which would just go down the chute anyway. Avoid. Just leave the gutters as they are.

Very easy to fit into a standard downpipe, at least I'm told they are standard size downpipes. The blocking part is a decent size and should stop most leafs, if not all - is that the right word?) Seems pretty sturdy and I expect them to do their job for some years to come.
