7" Sitting Gruffalo Soft Toy

Was looking forward to this item as my daughter loves the animated short series. Unfortunately we received a defective plush with eyes placed unevenly making the gruffalo appear to be drunk. Also, the stitching is rather poorly done; specifically around the mouth (as seen in photo). How could quality control miss the uneven eyes?! It's blatantly obvious. Very disappointing but aside from these faults, it matches the description and online photo for the most part. Would love for company to contact to me to fix this.

Theres no way this is 7". I always read reviews and look at pictures but I was so excited to get this for my son (loves the book) I didn't even bother. It is really nice but way to small for my 5 year old. Im sad wish it was way bigger like a normal size bear.

My nephew loves the Gruffalo story and this was pefect! He opened the box in awe! This has great detail and is a perfect size for a child's hands.

£10 for a tiny teddy! Absolutely disgusting. And Its eyes are pointing in different directions!For reference, here it is against my son's amazon tablet. I imagine the size estimate was done by a man - because no way in hell is that 7 inches.

I purchased this gruffalo toy for my son who loves the gruffalo storybook. There are not many toy options available, so I thought best to go with a soft toy. I purchased it for just under £9. It has good detail - the purple prickles all over his back, nobbly knees, black tongue etc. So clearly they've worked to incorporate all of the parts of a gruffalo. However this item is NOT 7" tall. I bought directly from Amazon and it is about 5" tall when sat down. I tried pulling it upright and stretching it out to see if maybe it had been packed down in the small shipping box it came in. When stretched out it gets to about 5.5". Considering you can buy a gruffalo that's 7" tall for around £9 and then one that's an inch or two taller for £12 and so on it makes a difference how tall it is. My son was really excited as he knew it was coming and was present when the box was opened otherwise I would have returned it on the basis it doesn't match the description. The only saving graces out it is that it is a very detailed toy, even if it is small. And my son adores it. I can't help but feeling it was not worth anything close to £9. Also not suitable for babies or young children as all the extra details are parts you could rip off and potentially swallow. Wouldn't buy again, would buy a bigger one or not bother as its too small to do anything with.

Great little soft toy, I've seen other comments about the eyes not being straight but if you're familiar with the books then you will notice the gruffalo actually has wonky eyes lol.My 3 year old son loves it and i also brought the whole set to go with this soft toy.I would definitely recommend but don't expect them to be big.

This little cutie arrived yesterday. My autistic daughter absolutely loves him. Can’t recommend this product highly enough. Great delivery service, it’s so soft and cuddly and identical to the book.
