I bought this weighted blanket for my 20 year old grandson who suffers from depression and anxiety, especially at night. I have heard so many positive results if weighted blankets that I thought it might help him. I chose the AG blanket because of the size, price and weight. It arrived in 2 days in a beautiful box with very clear directions for use and care, is very well made and feels lovely to the touch. He was absolutely thrilled to get one and after two nights says he will never be without it! He has slept better than he can remember - feels somehow “safer” and just”better” enveloped in it. Thank you AG for making a difference in his life!

Made well and wisely. I sew and considered making a weighted blanket for myself because I want quality and proper pricing combo. I am analytical so I researched the bead type, spacing of squares, padding material, duvet ties... I wanted even weight distribution with small squares, glass beads, padding to reduce noise, no latex, etc.I am not disappointed with this choice and checked the various sizes and found a slightly larger blanket to be a little less costly. First night I woke up a few hours before my alarm feeling refreshed, light and rested- second night I had strange dreams and disturbing sleep. I look forward to my next snooze session because the worst night was no worse than those I had before, yet the first night exceeded my expectations exponentially.

Bought 60x80/20# blanket. Absolutely loved sleeping under the blanket to the point of not being able to sleep without it. Unfortunately I had to send back within 30days. The stitching was coming loose on the edges and was quite loose many places throughout. States glass beads but I felt something on my sheet after sending it back. Not as fine as sand..a bit bigger. I was able to pick up and visually see that it was a whitish bead. I could easily squeeze it so I put between my teeth and it felt like plastic and was easily able to bite pellet apart. Again, I loved the feel but craftsmanship was subpar and questionable glass beads. I’ll be getting a handmade one made in USA because of the quality.

I have reviewed and fretted over which weighted blanket to purchase. So after overthinking yet again. I decided on this blanket. I do have stroke related issues and restless leg syndrome. I received it and it was packed very well, beautiful red bow on the it. I did have to wash mine. Had a slight chemical smell. Washed and air dried. Took a few nights to get used to it but I can tell you its fantastic. I am no longer having that pesky restless leg issue at night. Love it, recommend it.

I have alot of health issues from muscle, joint, all over body pain, to sleep issues, anxiety, restless leg syndrome, insomnia, periodic movement disorder and it goes on... I was told my one of my doctor to try and get on of these blankets... At first I was how is a blanket suppose to help.. I have had this 4 days now... I'm in love, I always like soft light blankets... Dr. told me to give it 30 days because it will take some getting us too... Well, it didn't take me that long... I have issues of being hot in bed.. So, I got me a cooling blanket and the last 4 nights I have no been hot or sweaty at all... I still do sleep with 3 fans on in the summer...I honestly hope that anyone out there that has issues sleeping tries this... It's not for everyone but, I'm telling you it's AMAZING AND WORKS FOR MEEE...

This weighted blanket is a lot heavier than I expected. It takes some getting used to. However, its construction is very nice, and I like how the weight is distributed due to sturdy pockets of tiny glass beads. During the winter, it provides extra warmth and security. The outside of the blanket is a mix of rough and hard. Therefore, it is a good idea to get a soft cover/case to put over the blanket. Overall, this is a nice product that improves comfort and gives you a sense of calm.

This arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier! After doing A LOT of research on comparable products, I finally chose to go with the 20lb blanket from AG. So many other companies seemed to have QC issues with beads falling out, poor stitching, etc., but from what I've read, I've yet to find any legitimate negative reviews for this one. I was immediately impressed with the presentation of the packaging, and the higher quality of the blanket itself is apparent. Also pleased that they have a three year warranty!I do have depression and anxiety (treated and in remission) but still have high anxiety at night and sleep poorly because of it. Adding in the fact that my husband is a Law Enforcement Officer (aka not home at night often) makes this 10x's worse. I'm normally not one to complain but I've been having more anxiety lately (for no particular reason, it's just "there"), so I figured it was time to finally invest in one of these.Last night was the first time in a long time that I was A) not overheated, B) fell asleep quickly and soundly, and C) felt "safe" and actually had some relief from my symptoms. Who knew something so simple could make such a difference!?I've read a lot of people saying that they felt crushed by the weight of this blanket, even in lower weights. Personally, I feel like I could've actually gone up in weight for the blanket; this morning I simply folded it in half and laid under it for a while and it felt even better, so I think that's how I'll use if moving forward.Anyway, I highly, HIGHLY recommend purchasing this if you are on the fence. I'm so glad I did. I'll update in the future if anything changes but for now, I'm very happy with this purchase!!
