T50 IR 850nm IR Light Illuminator Infrared Led Flashlight 50mm Lens IR Torch for Long Rang Night Vision Scope Hunting (Power and Tail Switch Package)

I have the Evolva T50 as well as the T20 and T38 and although I recommend the T20 / T38 highly the T50's performance isn't worth the extra size, weight and cost. Additionally at least on the unit I received either the LED or the Lens / Barrel were slightly offset so that as lens was extended / focused the light pattern was uneven with the beam moving in a circle instead of staying centered. Aside from this issue when focused the beam was not any tighter or brighter and this unit uses the same LED as the T20 / T38. Although I have not tested this the only reason I can see for purchasing this unit over the smaller ones is a likely extended run time without battery change due to using two batteries instead of one or perhaps over compensating for something else!For more information please read my reviews of the T20/T38 as most of the information presented also applies here including the compatibility with 1" scope rings.

Just tried it yesterday- Seems to be off. Listed as 850nm but It doesn’t quite look like it. It may be 950 by factory mistake? My others light up an entire field and this seems to be very weak. I wish I had not waited so long to try it but, I have many others for night vision aid for my camera. Just a bit disappointed in what’s usually a great product (and me for waiting so long to check the function...)

The T-50 was packaged well and it took less than 24hrs for delivery to northern California. The illuminator was of decent quality where material and construction are concerned.It does a good job as an IR illuminator, however, it has a large footprint and it adds bulk to your weapon system that is already bulky. That said, it's a good buy for what you get in the box; 5 stars if it was smaller.Thermal optics is the way to go if you have the cash; I am guessing that is not an option for most reading this review. Works great. Used in conjunction with Gen 1. Nvg monocular. Makes a big difference. IR light is only visible to night vision but the naked eye can see the little red light from the torch itself.

Head was a little loose when dialed in to focus but other than that worked better than expected put on an AR -15 with digital night scope and doubled even tripled the range of the night scope and it can barely be seen ,you have to be looking right at it to see it.

...This is what you need with your 'Night Vision' scope or binoc's!! This IR torch is a 'BULL MOOSE'! It takes (2) 18650 rechargeables and comes with a charger the batts and a remote pressure switch!! I love it!!! Semper Fi! Godspeed!!

I own a ATN xsight II scope it's a great scope ..so I purchased the atn IR Illuminator 850 thinking it would be a great product also.. but I'm going to return it because I tried the ir t50 and it is an awesome lite works great can see great with it
