I love this thing
The media could not be loaded. ย First off - I did buy this endoscope, and have a hard time understanding the recent surge of negative/1 star reviews. Yes, the picture quality is far from HD, but it's $30. Are you really trying to get that clear of a picture with a $30 piece of equipment? Are you trying to spy on ladies in the bathroom and it's too fuzzy? For starters I'd say it's plenty clear, and second, what the hell are you trying to spy on people for?Let's be honest, are you really wondering if this thing can see into an engine? Yeah, I'm sure a lot of people are, but then there are the people like me who have been watching too many youtube videos and are now mildly paranoid/curious about whats in their ears..So huge disclaimer here, I'm not advocating sticking anything in your ears, or nose for that matter. But if you're going to, make sure to be in a secure place, where no dogs/cats/people/ferrets? will bump into you, or random people will scare you...because a punctured ear drum isn't all that fun.Anyway, if you're like me then you're wondering if it works and is clear enough to see, and the short answer is yes but with a few caveats listed below.First - You are given a QR code which leads you to a sketchy website where you must download a viewer on your phone. However, all virus detection software I ran said the site was fine, but I also found plenty of similar apps on the google play store...so pick your poisonSecond - The camera lights get understandably warm, especially if you're not used to +/- 5ยบF changes in your ear.Third - The camera shuts off after 3 minutes on the camera viewer I have. You can pay for a full versionSo why 5 stars? Because, take a look at the picture of my ear drum, and watch the video. This scope costs ~$30 and can give images like that. If you want to buy an endoscope from a medical supplier (clean materials, yada yada, I understand), they are upwards of $300. Simply put, this thing is awesome. The camera comes with a small packet of supplies:- 2 metal grabber attachments. One has a small magnet to retrieve lost screws/washers/etc. (see video)- 1 45ยบ Mirror that attaches to the end of the scope.I can't post links to external sites, but if you go to the google play store and search for "usbwebcamera" any should work.

Excellent product, well worth the price.
Exactly as advertised. Had it connected and running on my PC, Android phone and Android tablet within ten minutes of taking out of the box. Most difficult part was figuring out how to use the code scanner on the tablet. Had to download scanner app first. Only suggestion is that there should be a way to put a shortcut to the app into your saved apps. There is none, but there is a selection check box to turn on the app automatically when the device is plugged in, which works perfectly. After all, if you plug it in, you want it to turn on anyway, right? It's just that if you want to turn it off and then back on again, you have to unplug it and plug it back in.The diameter of the camera is smaller than you'd guess, less than 1/4 inch. So it will slip easily under or around almost anything. Comes with a 90 degree angle mirror, which is plastic and cheesy but does the job. Also comes with attachments of a magnet and a hook so you can pick stuff up. You can take pictures and video with it as well. It it FIXED focus, so anything closer than about one inch is fuzzy. Past that all is in focus, but it is not a telescope so although it is in focus it will not be sharp or magnified. The led lights are adjustable from very bright to totally off.I am in the pest control business and this will work perfectly for looking into chimney flues and under decks to see if animals are in there.

The concept is great, the price is great
The concept is great, the price is great, but the functionality is not so great. The field of view is so tiny you can't make anything out when using it. I used it to check dryer vent pipes, drains, and other plumping applications. The field of view is so narrow, you cannot make anything out. The light works well but is of little use when you can only see a picture with a diameter of about a dime. I understand its a tiny camera, but i have even smaller cameras with double and triple the field of view of this part. I returned because it was of no use to me.

Does what it claims, no complaints at all.
I was quite surprised by the number of options for an Android scope listed on Amazon at too-low-to-be-any-good prices. After comparing features, I settled on this one and took a chance, with fairly low expectations. The product arrived quickly in good condition, and lived up to its claims 100%. I haven't had it long enough to comment on long-term durability, but I am completely satisfied with its performance and quality. I didn't bother with the included software; instead I installed CameraFi from the Google Play store. With that free app installed, the scope has been plug-and-play simple and works at least as well as it claims, and quite a bit better than I expected for the price. I have been recommending this product to my friends and colleagues.

Good but no luck with the PC software
The software for the PC is in a small CD and only in Chinese and I didn't find any links to download it from the internet so I can't use it in my laptop. But the software for the phone worked perfectly on my LG V10 and I also try a Samsung S6 that also worked great. I will give it 5 stars if they put a link somewhere to download a PC or Mac software.

not bright enough to illuminate larger areas
The light is not bright enough to illuminate the space I wanted to see (a few square inches). (It will work if you want to see a nail head) The quality in low light conditions is very poor. A note not related to product: it turns out that the lack of up/down of the camera/cable makes it hard to orient yourself - especially if you don't know what you should see (as you would with cameras in normal situations).

I played with the dimming feature and found that it makes a difference in seeing the fine detail, Bought it to use in inspecting
Just received this today and it worked perfectly, after reading the reviews on it I didn't even try their app but went directly to google play and downloaded CameraFi.A few years ago I had purchased a professional inspection endoscope and found that it lacked the resolution that I required. This may have been due to light washout as LED's were fixed output, not a problem with CrazyFire. I played with the dimming feature and found that it makes a difference in seeing the fine detail, Bought it to use in inspecting cure in rotationally molded parts.
