These fit over my ears so even without noise cancellation they do provide a degree of isolation. Noise cancellation can sometimes be heard as a little background white noise but still very good.There is an indicator when noise cancellation is on and this even works when the main headphones are off - just be careful to switch it off when you switch off the headphones otherwise your battery will be dead next time you use them.There does not seem to be an indicator that the main headphones are ok apart from a little blue led flashing every twenty seconds or so - I would have like something that either flashed more often or was on constantly.When using on PC with Skype our other such application you need to be aware of a limitation, that affects other high end headphones from Sony and Bose, and that is that these appear as two devices in Bluetooth. The first is high quality stereo, for listening to music etc - no microphone. The second is lower quality headset - headphones and microphone. If you select the first as your sound output device then the microphone is effectively disabled. If you select the second (headset) then the audio quality you hear is reduced - so if you listen to music after a Skype call the music will sound poor. Also the headphones in the second (headset) mode sometimes auto silence so you need to mute and unmute windows sound or increase volume part 85% to enable audio output. It took me ages to realise this and thought the headset was faulty - I found the solution on a high end Sony headphones forum. Seems to just be a windows issue - phones auto switch between the two Bluetooth profiles, so high quality stereo for music and low quality headset for Skype etc.

Nicely made, quick charging, good bass, but a little muddy, but at this price point, great. Very comfy. An absolute bargain for the price.A few months on. I love these so much. They've given me a new lease of life. The active noise cancellation is a massive bonus. No. A necessity. Especially in certain situations. Whether you're juggling your Kids' noise with the excellent easy to use left-ear-only noise cancel button function, or laying on your side listening to the latest in mind trombones with some help from your Uncle Bulgaria, I've found these to be a great all-rounder. Highly recommended.

I bought these for my little boy who is on the ASD spectrum for Christmas. The great advantage with these headphones is that with the noise cancellation feature. He can just wear them as ear defenders if he pleases. Or he can wear them and listen to his music or watch his films via his tablet if there is too much going on. I've also tried them on and I've got to say. They are extremely comfortable. They fit over the whole of the ear. They don't make you sweat. Sound quality is good. Much better with the ANC turned on as the bass and mid range has much more clarity. I personally have a pair of AKG headphones and these MPOWs in many ways are better for the money. I would recommend to anyone.

Good quality comfortable headphone. Great sound and noise cancelling. My only gripe is that when on a teams call the microphone kicks in straight away but takes the headphones a couple of mins to miss some conversations

I loke the good cover over my ears. That already gives good isolation before even activating the noise cancelling. Quality of sound is clear and sharp.
