Its a novel concept to break a bag into 2 pieces to slide past airplane restrictions. And its good for that. Its fairly comfortable and kind of fun to play with for a bit.But there are a gazillion pockets and I found it easy to lose where I put stuff. The day pack is a little too big. In the end, I file like I would be happier with one slightly smaller single bag that is just a bag and not trying to be too things.

Es muy practico poder tener dos mochilas en 1.El único inconveniente es que cuando las dos están unidas, el centro de gravedad es un poco incomodo de llevar en la espalda.No la recomiendo si quieres hacer largas caminatas, pero para ir de viaje es perfecta.

I use the day pack as my day-to-day work back pack. The laptop sleeve is plenty big (I have a 15 inch laptop) and the day pack is surprising large, fitting a lot of paperwork, lunch pack, coffee thermos with room for workout clothes (including running shoes). The smaller zippered area is well designed with multiple interior pockets and pen holders. The sleek look of the day pack fits in at my office. One trick that I've used if I don't want the hip belt dangling is to just clip it to the loop on the back of the day pack, this completely pulls it tight and gets it out of the way. I've used the combo duffel for a 4 day wedding weekend. I was able to get two suits (pants, jacket, dress shirt, tie, belt, socks), nice pair of shoes, and four days of regular clothes (shorts, jeans, shirts, workout gear for 3 days, underwear, socks) with toiletries all packed in the duffel bag. Frankly, I was amazed how much fit in the thing and found the slimming straps to come in super handy. The duffel snaps onto day pack easily and makes it look like a single bag. Even though it is in the nebulous space of a carry-on/personal item, I was never questioned and found it super easy to detach the duffel once on the plane so I could slide the day pack under my seat (I had all my electronics stored in the day pack. Overall, I have been extremely satisfied with this day pack/duffel combo.
