I bought this sprayer to put a fine coat of oil on french fries before cooking them in one of these hot air fryers. Some of the reviews I read complained that the spray was not fine enough, and I almost did not buy the sprayer. The reviewers must have used oil that had a high viscosity. With water, the sprayer produces a very fine mist - almost like fog. With low viscosity cooking oil, it produces a very satisfactory mist. I use Pompeian Extra Light Olive Oil, primarily because I wanted an oil with a smoke point well above 400F and very mild flavor. Note this is "extra light" oil, not "extra virgin" oil, which has a higher viscosity and a much lower smoke point. Another suitable oil would be refined soybean oil. Also the oil should be a room temperature when sprayed. The viscosity of most cooking oils virtually doubles at refrigerator temperature. Finally the diameter of the nozzle orifice is tiny, so no solids should be mixed with the oil that do not dissolve in the oil. One reviewer complained that she mixed salt with the oil and clogged the sprayer.The bottle is not difficult to clean (thanks in part to the included bottle brush), but it is hard to dry afterwards. I used a "wick" made with a tightly rolled paper towel and it took maybe five minutes to dry the inside of the bottle.Overall, I like the appearance and size of the bottle. The bottle is small enough that the oil likely will be used up before it has time to degrade. Filling is clean and easy, thanks to the included funnel.

I love this! I just filled it up to test it. It comes with a tiny funnel and it works but since it's so small you have to pour slowly. But still very easy. Pumped twice and on the 3rd pump sprayed the pan. It's not as smooth as say Pam is but after a few squirts the pan was pretty nicely coated almost to the point of running. I was worried it would be too small, but no. It fits nice in the hand, not too heavy and after I played with it, I'd only used less than 1/4 inch. If you want a fine mist like Pam, then this isnt what you want, but I highly recommend this. Also, its really nice and professional looking and you get TWO!

The first set I bought had one shattered bottle with no damage evident on the outside of the box. The seller shipped the replacements without any fuss, before I had returned the units. They work pretty well, although with oil they don't really spray a fine mist. Good enough for what I need.

Until I found these, I had rotten luck with oil sprayers. Most products have weak spraying action that comes out in sputters if it comes out at all. These have an excellent, even spraying action commensurate with aerosol oil sprays you can buy in a store. But these are refillable and convenient.I've orders a couple sets of these. The glass top where the top is screwed on was broken on one of these but Amazon shipped a replacement set quickly. Super-happy with these.

I waited forever for these to dry after cleaning them for initial use. I even tried pouring boiling water in them to see if that would help (making the bottle warm to aid in faster drying?) After waiting for a week with moisture still trapped inside, I eventually placed them in the oven to dry completely. Once I was finally able to dry the bottles and feel confident they are clean and dry, I put olive oil in one and vinegar in the other. I initially thought the bottle did not work. I tried with all my strength the depress the oil mister, with no luck. I tried again a couple days later and was able to get some oil out, then stopped working again. I feel like there's something blocking the oil and if I press as hard as I need to, the mister will (or should) break with the use of force needed to get it working. The vinegar mister works on and off, not as reluctantly as the bottle with the oil in it. The vinegar bottle, worked initially, but again, stops working, not as hard to depress as the oil bottle. I took the vinegar out and used just water, which is still hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I would not recommend.

I was interested in planet-friendly refillable oil sprayers as a replacement for disposable oil spray canisters. This nailed it. The glass is sturdy, and the stainless steel tops are elegant. The set has two sprayers, so I'm using one for olive oil (salads, grilling) and one for canola (baking). Both work brilliantly. A feature of this set that others don't have is the steel caps on the bottoms of the sprayers to prevent breaks. I'm noticing now that this must be why other sets are selling silicone caps separately. This is a great product, and if you're looking to support a good cause while improving your kitchen setup, it turns out that this company is a Colorado business that supports a local nonprofit pay-what-you-can restaurant that feeds the city's needy.

I exchanged the first non-working one. They sent another set that does not work with oil. Oil does not mist or spritz at all... it goes splat, splat... totally useless for cooking with. On the vinegar, it does mist, however, the pump stops working after a week or so of use. The company seems like nice people; but, their product is junk. They need to do a lot more R & D versus dumping this unfinished product on the public. I had high hopes; this one fell flat. An oil mister that does not mist and a sprayer that only works for a few pumps.

These are great! Pump always works and has a nice spray area. A tremendous value and no chemical propellants

Para el aceite es de esperar que no suba como spray y es aceptable. Lo malo es que para agua también le falta un poco de presión para mi gusto, pero son buenos productos, fáciles de limpiar y utilizar. Super prácticos para las carnes asadas y para mojar masa

Le puse una estrella menos porque no tienen la fuerza de un spraid, pero aún así sirven para dosificar el aceite para cocinar. Muy buen tamaño y vienen con un cepillito para lavarlas y con un pequeño embudo para vaciar en ellas el aceite, lo cual resulta un acierto porque verdaderamente son útiles estos dos pequeños aditamentos. Estoy contenta con mi compra.
