best GF bread
If you like a dense traditional bread you will love this; No more dissolving to dust in the mouth which is the quality I most dislike about shop bought GF breads. Don't expect this to be like a factory made bread or you will be disappointed this is a truly craft bakery type of dense loaf (think "Cranks" and you will understand what I mean completely); not perfectly suited to making a traditional sandwich, I suggest you try the Hungry scarecrow soft white rolls for that but great for peanut butter or preserve or a small open sandwich. It is great for eating as a companion to soups stews and casseroles. I found adding my fast dried yeast gave a better rise by adding to the warm water before adding to the the dry ingredients, I got a good 2 more inches of rise in the bread tin this way. Since finding this product I have stopped buying GF commercial bread or bread rolls. I recently tried the white rolls which were another "find" now I can enjoy a cheese and pickle roll again! I m looking forward to trying the pizza base and the Focaccia now.

Great mix, you need yeast and to tweak the recipe!
If you buy this mix, yes you need to buy yeast and have sugar, water and salt for the mix too. It does mean that the bread mix a bit expensive but it depends how much you want to make your own free from bread. After my first bake I have the following tips that might be helpful to others.1. If using dry yeast, mix in warm water before hand2. Use the 5g of salt, I weighed it and thought it seemed too much sononly added about 3g, but I think after tasting the bread, the whole 5g would have been better.3. It is a bit gloopy/ runny when you first mix. I added a handful of almond flour and it seemed to help without any issues. But I think as it has quinoa in, it would have probably soaked up the liquid as it proved.4. Make sure you have somewhere to keep it warm while it proves. You have to prove it twice, so bare that in mind when planning on baking!5. You might need to cook it longer or keep it in a oven turned off. I cut a tiny edge of the side after 1 hour, and it looked gooey (this is common when cooking with psyllium) so I popped it back in the oven but turned it off. I left it for another hour and a half. Then eventually took it out to cool down. Once it cooled it was fine (I cut into the middle and you could see it looked bread like).Taste wise it is a tiny bit lacking but that could be as I didnt use all the salt and salt brings out the flavours. I'd need to make it again (doing the method my own way). I'm experienced at free from cooking and baking, but sometimes when I come across something new, I'll stick to the method/ ingredients. If I were to make it again, I'd do a few things differently. It has turned out OK considering I was sure it would even be edible! It toasted ok, I'll probably use it for things like peanut butte toast, or bread to accompany soup/stew.Another person on here recommended the hungry scarecrow soft rolls mix if you wanted bread for sandwiches, so I've bought some of that to try too!I'll definitely buy this again, as consistency wise its got a really good crusty bread texture, it's doesn't have a horrible taste. Although I said it's lacking, it think if im using it with stuff like peanut butter or soup and stews, that wouldn't bother me, as I only want something to accompany the food. But I'll definitely try more salt next time and hope that improves the flavour (it's just a bit bland otherwise).I've taken off a star for lack of taste and price but overall this is a hit for me.

Didn’t work in bread maker
It didn’t work in the bread maker. It tasted nice, like bread pudding but failed to rise or cook in the middle

Don’t use in bread making machine
Bought this for my daughter who found out she has wheat and gluten sensitivity. She came to stay so I thought I’d treat her to a freshly cooked loaf. I used my Panasonic bread maker on the gluten free setting. The loaf smelled great as it was cooking but when I fetched it out it hadn’t risen at all- hard on the outside and chewy and doughy on the inside. I had carefully measured all the ingredients, as instructed

Delicious with great consistency
This was easy to make as per the instructions, and the result was both tasty and had a "normal" break like consistency very like sourdough bread.I have to say that because these packs are so pricey I would only buy it as a treat - although this particular pack is well priced compared to other mixes here on amazon, it is still double what you pay when buying gluten free bread in the supermarket, and needs egg whites and yeast as well.Having said that, it is definitely the best homebaked gluten free bread I've managed to make and went down very well with the rest of the family.

Delicious crusty loaf
Simple loaf to make, great strong flavours and fantastic crust. First prove went really well, second prove possibly over did it and the loaf shrank during the bake. Did take out after 60mins (says 65) as I had to go out but might bake for 65-70 mins in future (fan oven).

Fantastic - A Revelation!!!!
A few days ago, i bought this wonderful bread mix. It's super easy to make and not only was it delicious on the day, but was also lovely the following day. I sliced and froze some which defrosted well and still tasted delicious.I am absolutely delighted and will only eat this bread in future. For many years i have tried to make my own gluten free bread and failed, even in a bread maker, it just wasn't like proper bread. Now i am sorted. I have just ordered the mix to make soft rolls and will try those and get back to you......

Not value for money
I thought the product was the whole bread mix, but you have to provide yeast and sugar. So basically you are purchasing the bread flour only, albeit gluten free
