In the past I’ve purchased MREs from here and there but none have been able to measure up to Z-Rations. The amount, taste and quality are second to none. I get their 24 hour Z-Rations, Single Meal Z-Rations and the ((uhhhhmmm)) Stoner’s Delight Z-Ration(purely for survival prep and scientific reasons).When it comes to being ready don’t go cheap. I haven’t been disappointed, I think you will be quite happy and satisfied with Z-Rations what ever menu you choose. Included pictures to show front of packaging, back of packaging (which includes listings of what’s included in each bag), and a sample of what the items inside look like packaging wise. Will definitely be ordering more for preparedness, camping, quick meals and snacks at home when it gets a little foggy, and gifting.

I would not purchase this item again. It is food, so I do not want to waste time trying to "return" items or whatever but I was very disappointed with this item. I thought it would be a fun novelty item to take on a camping trip but when I opened the outer bag I found that some of the items inside had opened and were no longer edible. I don't recommend these due to the inability to know if you have a dud until you open it. Thankfully I had other food and this was just a "for fun" item, but if this had been my backpacking meal or something, I would have been very angry and also very hungry.

Slightly disappointed that It’s made from wild zombies I prefer farm raised Zombies. LolTo the actual review lots of food in this ration Weighs nearly 3lbs I ate 95% there were a few items in there that seemed out of place like the organic applesauce with members mark logo on it from Sam’s club. Entrees and desserts were military, all with 2019 date codes so they will last until 2024 with proper storage. Commercial snack items had less than 6 month expiration dates (Kar's trail mix, Ghardetto's pub mix, Sam's Club brand applesauce). I removed all of the close dated items and put them in my pack to eat right away, and broke the rest down into 2 separate meals, put them in vaccum seal bags and put them in my pack. Also, if you didn't know, the Z Ration only comes with 1 flameless heater, so pick up some spares or choose 1 entree to eat cold unless you plan on heating/eating both at the same time.

I had menu #4Pros: a pretty good variety. The Flameless heater worked great and kept heating for over an hour. The Chicken Burrito Bowl and Tortillas were pretty good.Cons: A little pricey. Some of the items will not store for as long as I would hope. Outer red mylar pouch was not air tight and was fragile. The pub mix, trail mix, and apple sauce have best by date of this year.The price would be OK if all the items would be able to be stored longer. I might buy another menu item to see if the outcome is the same. I have a feeling that it would probably be better to get 2 or 3 other MREs for about the same price.

I have never had an MRE, and as my first one this was an awesome experience!! Everything is very tasty, from snacks to main courses, mine I believe was menu 9 Italian sausage sandwich and chicken Creole, very good. Never had chicken Creole before either and was really looking forward to that and it didn't disappoint! My only bummer is good have used one or two more slim Jim snacks never had those before and they were really yummy lol. I will shop here again for sure, I received my MRE quickly and like I said everything tasted great, or well I haven't had the coffee yet lol saving that for morning, but I'm sure it will be good. I got this for all day hikes and this thing sucked. it had only a few good things in it. the first strike bar was delicious but everything else was not as expected nor enjoyable. will not by again. i will be sticking just to XMRE

I bought this for hunting, I was able to utilize everything over the course of a whole day.
