Red Kap Men's Snap Front Cotton Coverall, Oversized Fit, Long Sleeve

I needed some 100% cotton coveralls to wear while welding. Can't have any polyester in your clothes while welding. So, I decided to give these a try. They arrived with some kind of fabric treatment I didn't much care for. One trip through the washer and it was gone. They close via metal snaps. No zippers, buttons, or velcro. The way they are cut, they are easy for even an old, mobility impaired guy like me to get on by myself. They fit over summer clothes fine. When I was done, they came off just as easily as they went on. I could move perfectly fine with them on. No restriction at all to any movement. I wore a leather welding jacket so these overalls didn't get full of small burns from welding splatter. Overall, if you need 100% cotton coveralls these work fine. I would order your regular chest size. That's what I did and they fit fine. They are pre-shrunk, so wash and dry as needed.

Very happy with this purchase. I'm 5'10" 195 lbs and the size 44 fits perfectly. They were a little big until I washed them. They do shrink.

Good quality, heavy fabric, and construction seems quite decent as well. However, it is too small overall. I ordered to my chest size (36) and it's slightly snug in the waist (I have a 32 waist) and quite short in the crotch even though I did not have pants on underneath, only underwear. I'm assuming it will shrink some in the wash, as indicated by other reviewers, so I'll try sizing up by 2 full sizes to a 40.

PROS: It's thick, warm, and 100% cotton. CONS: The fit is terrible. I read a ton of reviews here to get an idea of what size to buy. I normally wear a size 42 coat so I ordered this a bit larger (size 44) to be safe, but it's short in the arms and legs by a few inches and too baggy (allowing dirt in), but worst of all the crotch seam is way too short so it pulls on your nuts and constantly squeezes them up from the minute you put it on which is very uncomfortable. I would buy a bigger size (44 Tall or even 46 Tall), but 2 of the snaps fell off after washing and now the price is double what I paid.

Great color, material, and quality. Ordered a 38 Regular hoping for a bit of room to move and fits 5'5" PERFECTLY (usually wear 34"x32" pant). However, had to return it for a different size because was looking for a baggy fit. (Was definitely not baggy!) None the less, high quality, thick material with strong snaps and pockets.

Had to order twice to get a size that I could even put on. I am 5’8” - 175 lbs with 34” waist. I had to order a 44 Long to get one that I can wear - only extra is legs a little long, but can easily deal with that. It still is not large around body but can manage. I can’t understand why. The sizing is not Honest??? If you get a size that you can wear; it is worthy of 5 stars.

Exactly what I expected nice medium weight cotton. They are well made and the snaps are a good quality. Will be buying more. Genuine work wear.
