The Courtland is a military style boot that is part of the Wolverine 1000 Mile Collection. They have a beautifully tanned leather upper, cap toe construction, heel pull tab, and a rubber lug outsole with stacked leather heel. These boots were designed for years of comfort and engineered with premium materials that will last and last.

One of my favorite boots!
I regret not buying a couple pairs sooner. Now they dont make these anymore but i was lucky to find a random pair that happened to be my size after watching for over a year. The quality is high! The leather is soft and supple but sturdy. I like that its good year welted too so i can resole them if i want when they are worn down. I also bought a pair of aldens before this and i prefer these, they just look better in jeans. The laces are waxed and with a good care and maintenance these boots can last you a long time.

Great shoes but....
Bottom line, yes I really like these shoes and this particular style of the Wolverine 1000 mile. However, these are clearly factory seconds and the seller never mentions that in the listing. Yes, these were very discounted but they were also discontinued model so it just seemed like a good find. If I had known they were 2nds, I may not have purchased them. I could have possibly returned them but for the price, I decided to keep them. Ultimately, I like the look and they already feel like totally different shoes (in a good way) after just a week or two.

60 days old and the heels separate? What gives?
I bought two pairs of these boots in October, 2015--about two months ago. Both have been worn about 10 times and never in wet conditions. Both pair are losing the heel--one against the bottom and the other splitting in the middle of the heel. These are the two most expensive shoes I have ever owned (and I am 63 years old). It is an abominable situation. I have contacted wolverine and awaiting word from them on how they will approach this. I will update. Needless to say these will not last 1000 miles as the name suggests.

One of my favorites boots
Have to order a full one size smaller, but other than that this is a very very nice boot. I wish they still made this boot. Its comfortable and weighs just about right, not too heavy like aldens and not too light like if it was cheaply made. The waxed boot laces are a nice touch. The leather is very fine do not scratch it.

This is a great boot
This is a great boot. It has the feel and support of a boot with a shoe-like look. I find the feel puts me more in contact with the ground than in a cushy sneaker. These are serious foot-covers! I have a Super Feet insole in mine (got 1/2 size up so it would fit). Have not walked 1000 miles yet so can't comment on the name, but did a mile or so this morning and feet felt fine. These boots help you walk with authority. I'm now considering a second pair.

Boot running strong. Heel still intact.
I think these boots are fantastic. I've had them for about a month now and are very comfortable and stylish. I bought them along with the Red Wing Iron Rangers and Moc Toe boots. As far as comfort goes? I recommend. With all the bad reviews about the heel coming off Wolverine boots, there is no indication that is happening with these (so far). I also have a pair of originals, Evans, and Hartmann. Those are still running strong as well. The rubber sole makes for better comfort as opposed to the originals.

Wolverine 1000 Mile Men's Courtland
I wear a 10 in my Danner GTX 453, but a little tight, 9.5 in Ariat Cowboy boots and 9.5 in these wolverines and thats about right for me with these. I love the boots, they might seem a little large in front, but they feel comfortable and my feet are set in the boot I I have not worn them a lot yet, but I am thrilled with them so far.
