I tried this for the first time and I noticed, at the end of a very long day, that I hadn't once thought about my armpits! This was amusing to me because until that moment, I hadn't realized just how often I had previously been thinking of them. I had always used an anti-perspirant with aluminum tetra-chloroblahblah and while some worked better than others, none worked really well. Throughout the day I would have at least three good reasons to think about my pits with increasing frequency as the hours went by: 1) sweaty, 2) itchy, and 3) offensive, even to myself. To compound my displeasure, all the Bans, and Secrets, and Mennons, and Dials, and etc. left a disagreeable crunchy buildup on my clothes, and an itchy film under my arms that didn't seem to come off even with scrubbing with soap and water.I tried several natural deodorants; in fact, spent a small fortune on them, usually finding that they go on sticky and stay sticky all day, while providing little in the way of odor prevention. I had nearly given up. Enter PIper Wai.Now Piper Wai is a bit of a pain to apply, but once you have it on, it really does the job. No smell at all, even after a double shift, and DRY! Nothing has ever kept me so comfortable all day. It's probably worth noting that there have been about three days in the two months I have been using it that it inexplicably failed. Did I not apply enough? Not spread it around enough? Probably. It hasn't happened lately. Nevertheless, I couldn't be more thrilled, and I don't even mind the hassle of applying the paste because I am confident that no one, not even I, will be thinking about my armpits. Life's simple pleasures!P.S. I don't recommend the stick version of Piper Wai. It goes on oily, and doesn't keep me feeling dry.P.P.S. My first pot had what looked like a thumbprint in it. I contacted Piper Wai about it, who got back to me promptly and courteously with the explanation that some of their filling equipment left a finger-sized depression in the product, and that they were working on a solution to eliminate that potentially off-putting problem, and assured me that no one had been sticking their fingers in my PW before me. I have just ordered my second pot, and have not yet opened it - hopefully no finger-shaped divot in this one.P.P.P.S. I was so excited about this, I sent some to my sister. She says it doesn't work for her at all. Different chemistry?

I’ve tried other natural deodorants and they just don’t work. They use baking soda to absorb moisture, but it is incredibly irritating to my skin, and my pits still end up wet and stinky.PiperWai actually works! I’ve been using it for over five years.The charcoal does a great job of absorbing moisture without irritating my skin. I run a pony camp in the heat and humidity of the Pennsylvania summer, and while it doesn’t keep me bone dry, this deodorant does a far better job than other naturals and is almost as good as standard antiperspirants.The scent is light and works well with my natural odor; I don’t smell like fake, overpowering, masking fragrance like in other products. It has a beautiful, natural scent. I’ve asked friends and my husband if I smell okay using this deodorant (because we all need some honest feedback!) and they actually like how I smell while using this! Even after long hikes, this deodorant stands up.My only complaint is that the company used to use glass jars and they’ve now moved to plastic, which is not as environmentally friendly.If you’re hesitant, just try it. PiperWai is the only deodorant I’ll use.

I purchased a jar of Piper Kai deodorant at the beginning of the 2023 summer and it's gone above and beyond my expectations. South Louisiana summers are miserable with heat and humidity... especially if you naturally perspire a lot and are an avid organic gardener like myself who spends most days outside. 🥵No perspiration odor whatsoever, even after a long day! Has a really nice light fresh unisex scent ... not strong, sweet or fruity smelling.That little jar lasted for MONTHS and I just recently ordered again (trying the stick version this time).I cannot imagine anyone not being very happy with Piper Kai... even those that haven't had good results with anything other than the aluminum anti-perspirants!And nope, this is a non incentive driven review. It's an honest opinion from a middle aged southern gal who is tickled over this product.Please disregard typos plus grammar mistakes as I'm too lazy to proofread this.

This stuff works amazing as far as eliminating bad odor is concerned. It is the only natural deodorant that truly provides 24 hour protection at least for me. I really wanted to love it, but I had developed painful sensitivity 4 day after using it. It started on day 2 or day 3 with a discomfort, then my skin became painful to the touch or even clothing rubbing against it. I had no visible rash or redness, I still have sensitivity over a week later after I stopped using it, not sure what it is. I had always used only natural products, so it's not the "detox" thing from charcoal some people refer to, I had used Crystal brand of deodorant and coconut oil on my skin. I must be allergic to some ingredient unfortunately, or maybe intense rubbing motion caused irritation, which brings me to my other complaint - delivery mechanism. It's very tedious to apply, because the paste is thick and it gets everywhere around my sink when I try to rub it. It also wastes a lot more product than recommended pea size amount, no way it is enough for adult armpits. Maybe my product was too dry, as it was rolling off theskin and getting everywhere.Update Oct 24: I have figured out a way to use it that agrees with my sensitive skin. I apply the layer of moisturizer first and then this deodorant. It turns out that the instructions to apply this product to the dry and clean skin is what was causing me irritation, I need a layer of protection. I use coconut oil as a moisturizer and since it's also one of the ingredients in this product, it goes quite well together. Applying this thick dry paste to my oily underarms is a lot easier too and wastes less product. I had used it for over week now and no irritation yet. I still don't like the method of application and the consistency of the paste, hence the 4 star rating. But it works great for odor protection!

I Wanted to like this product but it seems a bit “sketch””. It Crumbled and made a bit of mess first couple times I used it. Quite strong smell. Tried to find where it is made?? Website is a bit sketchy as well. I ditched it.. and now these jokers are selling it for $109.00. I Hope Karma is a thing.

Saw this on Shark Tank and decided to give it a (reluctant) try. Upon the first day of using it I was totally blown away. It’s been a week or so now and I still love it just as much.Compared to other natural deodorants I’ve used, this one is fantastic. I find most other deodorants to be grainy due to their ingredients but this one is super smooth and lasts a long time (did have to reapply later in the day but I’m just a sweaty gal tbh).The container is also really cute, and the light gray colour of the product is very ~aesthetic~.The smell is really nice. It smells like essential oils, nothing really fruity or flowery but just a nice smell? Natural and nice.Definitely going to repurchase and continue to use.

This product is scented with essential oils and smells lovely. I notice that some reviewers have said that it smells like perspiration, this has been far from the case for me, it must be an issue with personal chemistry for some users.The problem for me is that this deodorant is difficult and messy to apply and I find that I rarely use it, because it's just too much trouble if I'm tired, on a strict schedule, wearing a light coloured bra or top, have just cleaned the bathroom sink, or am just not in the mood for a frustrating experience.It is a 'damp' powder that you emulsify between your fingers, so that you can smooth it on your skin. There's no neat or elegant way to dig around in the jar, and I end up with a lot under my nails. As you apply, some of the product crumbles onto you or the surfaces near you and when you rub it into your underarm, there is a point where you take it too far (which is impossible to predict) and it starts to thickly streak on your skin and, because it is a murky colour, your pits look grotty. Sometimes this excess (which you may not always see before dressing) rubs off onto your clothes, so be careful if you're wearing light colours.I love the idea of this product and I'm all for the scent, the effectiveness as a deodorant and the fact that it's natural and cruelty-free, but unless they come up with a better method of application, I would never buy it again.Also, the lid was cracked when it arrived.

I’ve used the pot of this stuff and loved it but hated getting my fingers covered in it so I was excited to try the “stick” version. The product itself is still amazing but I STILL get my fingers filthy because it’s just too soft to glide evenly. I’ve tried keeping it in the refrigerator but it doesn’t help. I’m still going to keep getting this because it’s the best deodorant I’ve ever had and the stick, while still messy, is worlds better than the pot I still hope they can find a way to harden it a bit more.For new users the Scent is light, gender-neutral, a bit herby/earthy.I have sensitive skin and rash up if you look too hard at me, but I don’t have any problems with this stuff.Works all day as well.
