Very effective
Worked great on the Poa annua. Very small amount needed per gallon so make sure you have a scale that can measure small amounts.

eradicate poa annua
This will take out poa annual (annual blue grass and possibly nutsedge) with minimal damage (if any) to your bermuda. I did 2 applications within a week of each other at slightly higher concentration than suggested because ive been fighting that weed for 3 years now. The only thing that controlled was literal glyphosate while the bermuda was dormant but that resulted in too much lawn damage. With this, the poa is dead. It's gone. Mixing is easy. mix the bottle in 1 gallon of water. From that mix (shake well before pouring as its suspension and might settle fast) put into a hose sprayer. On the sprayer, set it to 3oz per gallon. I did 4 as my poa is just too stubborn. You have up to a month to use the solution or lose it as it goes bad fast. So plan accordingly.Enjoy the yellow dead poa to brighten your day as you pass by it and laugh!

Works well
This works well to treat resistance in my weeds to previous herbicides. However, you do have to remember to mix the entire contents into a separate container first to figure out the concentrations.

Actually works on poa annua at reasonable price.
Finally found something that kills poa annua (annual bluegrass). Most of the other products that kill this stuff are outrageously expensive, and I was not going to pay that. This did not look like it was doing anything, and then two weeks later, it was all brown and dead. This is unlike any other herbicide I have ever used, and you have to go on the internet to find out how to mix it for a gallon sprayer. You have to mix the entire bottle at one time in a gallon of water, and then use three ounces of that per gallon in a sprayer for spot treatments. It is only good for 2-4 weeks after being mixed.I will be more diligent in putting out the pre-emergent next fall, but I will not hesitate to get more of the Negate 37WG if necessary.

Eventually works, just very slow
Be patient, use a dye to prevent missing some spots because you won’t see results for weeks

Negate 37WG Herbicide - Goodbye Poa Annua
Poa Annua thought it could invade my yard like it owned the place. It was wrong.Armed with just 1/2 teaspoon of Negate 37WG (shoutout to Patrick from Alabama for the tip), I mixed up my weed-fighting potion like a backyard chemist. Sprayed it on, stepped back, and waited.Four days later, the Poa Annua looked like it had received a strongly worded letter from Mother Nature herself. Brown, crispy, and officially evicted. This stuff is no joke—tiny dose, big results. If you’re tired of uninvited weeds crashing your lawn party, Negate 37WG is the bouncer you need.

Kills POA Annua on Bermuda grass
I applied Negate to my Bermuda grass front yard two times last Fall. One in September & I application in November. I meant to do another application in January 2025 but the weather wasn’t good. My lawn looks great this Spring. I get compliments from my neighbors who have lawn service. I had a ton of POA annua. I still have a little bit but I would say 85% less from last year. This really works!! I will be doing more applications this Fall again as several of my neighbors have a ton of POA Annua so I’m exposed from their lawns.

Be Patient
Patience is the key. It may take a month before you see any sign of it working. Don’t reapply thinking you didn’t use enough the first because you’ll end up killing things you didn’t want to kill.
