We purchased this for our severely autistic 8yr old to use to burn some energy. The product is harder and more sturdy than I had expected. Because of this, its worth noting that they can be prone to slipping when used on a hard surface such as hardwood flooring. This is easily mitigated by use of a felt or rubber pad.With respect to function, these are very cool in that they can be broken apart and set in any type of arrangement; not just a circle. We use them in a variety of ways, since our little guy loves to have weird surfaces under his feet.Overall, I recommend these because of their versatility and the durability I predict they'll have due to their construction.

Sturdy!

Great fun and balance activity for the littles. Both my 4 & 6 year old enjoy using this in their indoor obstacle course play. It is a fun thing to add to their activities and seems sturdy and well made too!

This balance beam was exactly what I was looking for to put in my son's sensory room. He is 5 and loves that you can build it different ways that it is not just a straight line. The bumps provide a reassuring grip. Also love that it isn't just flat and rises up and down making it something to concentrate on. It's easy to take apart and put back together for him. It even came with a carrying bag. This one is a winner for sure!

Bought this to increase my 2yrs balance and she loves it. Can position in different directions so she doesn't get board. Kind of slippery with socks on and can hold adult weight. Stores compact and easy to break down. Highly recommend to increase toddler balance, concentration and burn energy!

My Granddaughter is autistic and this is excellent for her because she’s jittery and doesn’t sit still. So instead of going around in circles she’ll walk the balance beam. It also comes with its own carrying bag.

My 2 year old has learned so much balance on this thing. It is super cute and sturdy. But it does pinch your feet if u walk on the gapped connected areas. It is also a little slick. So it is 4 stars because I think a different texture for the raised dots would be super helpful, esp. If your child is wearing socks while trying to balance.

Beautiful colours. Wished that the blue dots were non-slip. Love that the pieces can be arranged into different configurations.
