Twinings Wooden 6 Compartment Dividable Tea Box with 50 Hand Selected Tea Bags

This tea is amazing. Chamomile, move over! If I drink a coffee mug size of this and lay down, I will go to sleep. I have given it to my sister and my cousin, who both have insomnia like me, and that need prescriptions to sleep. Not anymore. By the ingredients, you cannot tell why it works, but it does. If I just sip it I will calm down and get relaxed and only feel sleepy if I lay down.

This costs more on Amazon than in the stores, but it is difficult to find a whole package of just this variety in stores. (It's part of a variety pack more commonly found). Nice for kids who like a hot drink before bedtime, and I like it too. I can usually get two cups from one bag. Individually-wrapped bags are nice; I use them in gift packages.

You buy this for the box, not for the tea. The tea is excellent, of course - a good variety of some fine Twinings teabags of various flavours. However, you could buy the tea for less in paper boxes in the grocery store. The wood box, though, makes a very nice presentation, for offering tea to guests, or for storing teabags in a more organized fashion than a clutter of grocery store boxes tossed on a shelf. It is well built, nice wood, looks classy, functions well to separate and provide access to various teas, and feels a lot more luxurious than the prce of the item would suggest. This is how you might expect your tea service in a very nice bed & breakfast or upscale inn. A little luxury for your tea experience, especially if you share it with others.

I currently have approx 40 to 50 different brands/types of tea in my kitchen. I have drunk Celestial Seasons Tension Tamer and Sleepytime for years but never truly enjoyed the taste of either, so decided to try this. I feel this is a much superior, and better tasting tisane. I will never drink any other Celestial Seasons tea again. I much prefer ALL of Twinings teas.

I find this tea to be very tasteful. It has a nice lemon flavor that isn’t too overpowering. It isn’t bitter, in fact I don’t even need to add any sugar to mine and I usually like tea to be very sweet.

Spending years overseas in the military, my wife and daughters loved the idea of afternoon tea. So, when my daughter had an upcoming wedding shower, my wife wanted this to surprise my daughter. I thought it was a bit extravagant (and maybe it is), BUT, what a hit! My daughter was so touched, it was worth every penny. She continues to use it for her personal use and when we have guests. It keeps her favorite teas organized and is always a hit with our guests.

I didn’t feel especially relaxed or sleepy after drinking this tea. The flavor is also a little too bland. I love tea and drink it every day, but I don’t care for this one. Unfortunately I’ve tried it twice and now it’s just sitting in my pantry. I wouldn’t buy it again.

I have been experimenting with various types and brands of herbal tea. This particular tea is my favorite. It has a clean, delicious minty taste. I am attempting to reduce my addiction to coffee and this seems to help with caffeine withdrawal (just my experience)I just made my second order as I’m drinking about 2 to 3 cups per day.
