Q: whats the difference with the water filter HGN: High performance or Premium?

Hi G! We have two (2) filter models that we offer here on Amazon.com, and both filters are compatible with Enagic machines, especially the Leveluk series. These are the High Performance (at $75) and Premium Performance (at $105) filters. Please be informed that we offer the newer HG-N type in all three filter models (please make sure you identify the filter type that's compatible with your ionizer before placing an order). If you are unsure of the filter type that is compatible with your ionizer, you may refer to your current Enagic filter and check for the model number, whether it is the original type "MW-7000HG" (center filter nipple is completely round) or the newer "HG-N" (center filter nipple has 2 notches). Per the filter image, yes, it will. Any AF-9000 series filter model that has the "HG-N" label will fit into HG-N-compatible Enagic machines.

Q: will this be compatible to the Leveluk Jr ll ?

It is compatible. However, please examine your existing filter to correctly identify the filter type. If your filter is the “HG-N” type, it should have the following characteristics: • “HG-N” is marked on the filter, or • The filter’s center nipple has two indents/grooves.

Q: Can the filter remove heavy metals or lead ?

Greetings, The high-performance filter will not reduce heavy metals or lead, we do offer our Premium performance filter which does reduce heavy metals. New Water Filter Cartridge

It didn't work at first but I kept trying and it finally worked. It's a different one than I am suppose to use with my water filter machine, but it did work. It is working fine now. It's so much more inexpensive than what the company charges.

Ive ordered this one before and it was great, yet I ordered the "premium" this time. I had the other type, which I had to call them to order [not on amazon] definitely a taste and quality difference. spend the extra and get the best one.
