Flexi USA Retractable Lead, 1-Feet to 5-Feet, Small, Assorted colors

I had my first FLEXI Leash for about 28 years. No kidding. It's been through 4 different dogs and many, many miles. It just started showing signs of wear so I was really glad to find they still have this brand and model on the market. These thing work and are comfortable and lightweight to carry. Made in Germany if that makes a difference to you (German craftsmanship). I will say I only use these on my property and at my farm. I always use a short, traditional leash when strange dogs are around. These leashes are really great- I can't say enough good things about this product.

Beware, that you might not get the color, in picture (currently, it is red)..anyway, as you can see none is indicated. I had gotten a hardness (red) to go with the product. Imagine my surprised when I got blue. Anyway, two phone calls to Amazon and I had gotten two day shipping and the difference for the hardness to go with, I decided to kept the blue leash but I am returning the red hardness (getting a refund as well), they are picking it up by UPS, courteously fulfilled by Amazon. Hopefully, Amazon will fix this issue soon with either having the color choices displayed or just simply stating--"you will get any color we choose to give you, that's currently available". Anyway, I gave it 4 stars for the headache but 5 stars on the product itself and 5 stars on customer service; in relation to the second phone call.

a good flexi leash. I still would never trust a supermarket brand, cheaper version. "Flexi" is really the only way to go.I use this for our 30lb spaniel mix. He pulls like a mother***ker. This is the bare minimum for a robust 30 pounder that bolts after squirrels, cats, other dogs, or leaves blowing in the wind.I prefer the larger version for 44+lb dogs. The handle material is rubberized, and feels better to hold on long walks, hiking for hours. The larger size of the bigger flexi seems to resist the hard pulls better than this smaller version. otherwise, it's a servicable lead for daily walks.if you're going hiking, or on a longer day trip, I'd get the larger version.

Have a slightly different model from this company that we are still using after 10 years (thanks to Super Glue a couple of times to the handle). So when we decided we needed a back up for when we go camping I was glad to see this on Amazon. I ordered the small dog model - next time I will pay a little more as the handle is pretty small on the little dog model. Otherwise it looks like it will work as well as our current model. Our 9 pound, 18 yo dog, cannot walk right if there is too much tension on him. This leash gives the little bit he needs to know we're there but without pulling too much when he's trying to walk or do business. We love the brake and lock/brake feature and the black cord has a little reflective stuff as well. Works great for us and we bought a 2nd one, 1 weight test higher, for our other dog, a 10 pound 6 yo.

This exact leash was $30 at every pet store in my area. My ten year old pitt bull has had the same flexi leash for 6 years, but on our last trip to the park, it finally began to show it's age. When we went to the pet shop to get a new one, I was shocked to find out just how much they've gone up in price. I was a bit cynical about ordering one online, but the price was too tempting to pass up. Thank goodness I took that chance! The handle is comfortable, the leash is sleek, and retracts flawlessly. It was red as opposed to the black shown in the picture, but that color worked better with her collar anyway. I've had it for 2 weeks and it's still going strong, and we walk everyday.

Bought this to replace the exact same leash I had previously used for 9 years. It took a beating, and never failed. The old one started to fray on the line part of the leash, but even as the black braided covering broke and frayed, it had no effect on the strength of the leash. It eventually got jammed inside due to the fraying, but lived a long life and worked really well. When it finally broke, there was no question what to replace it with. I searched for the exact same model and bought another one.

I love the length, and so far he hasn't chewed thru the cord. The braking button isn't quite as easy to use as other leashes we've tried though, which is why I gave it 4 stars.
