Bought two of these and heard they may be flimsy, but after putting them up today they are not! They are perfect!! I love the curved in style, completely keeps the curtains around the side of the window. They are strong - I have two curtains on one rod and four curtains on the second rod. My curtains aren't extremely heavy but they work great. They say they can hold up to 22 pounds. I believe they can.Recommended! Will buy again!

This is a very sturdy curtain rod. I highly recommend it, particularly if your goal is to reduce incoming light. The wrap around edges work excellently in achieving that goal. My bedroom in my new home faces West, and receives an abundance of light as late as 9:45pm during the warmer months where I currently live (another valid reason to remain on Standard Time year round). This made falling asleep nearly impossible. Installing the rod at the right height and width created a very dark room, using darkening curtains of course - it's awesome and has led to better nights sleep. A winner!

It's hard enough to find sturdy curtain rods for blackout curtains that are a great price. I used to buy a well-known brand that were pretty cheap but made of plastic. They got too big for their britches and now theirs is like $40 a pop! It took me forever scrolling through product pages and stumbled across this amazing gem. They're mostly metal but not thin metal that'll break with weight like the ones at the most famous big box store. Save yourself some money too and get the used ones, as long as the description says it's in pretty decent shape. You're not really going to see most of the rod anyway, especially if you use blackout curtains because they'll remain constantly closed. I bought 2 of them used and not a scratch on them.

These are the Best rods I’ve ever had. I can’t sleep with Any light in my bedroom & the way these curve around the ends it completely covers the ends of the curtains where the light always comes in. With my blackout curtains I’m sleeping like a baby! Would definitely recommend. I’ll be buying more for the rest of the house. As a matter of fact, as I’m writing this, I can See the darkness at the end of my dining room window. Someone could be watching me & I’d never know it! Not in my family room tho, where I have them on my sliding door. It’s completely covered! Very Happy customer.

I appreciate the quality of this valance rod--it's sturdy and the hardware is A1. The installation was a little tough without a laser level, but I got it done with some basic math and a measuring tape. What I don't like is how far it sticks out from the wall. It's not garish or anything, but it sets my OCD personality off:) I wish there was a way to adjust that or that there was an additional super low-profile option. I do like that it reduces the light on the sides, however, and I've already put holes in the wall, so I'm going to keep it.

Blocks out light at the edges. But not the top and bottom. Still overall better than before. No issues installing.

These rods are simple and elegant. Not a curtain person but need blackout curtains in a bedroom. Super pleased with the look, stability and wrap ability.

Didn’t work for me because my old curtain rods were nearly up against the ceiling trim. On order for this rod to work I had to make new holes in the wall so that the rod could get slid onto the bracket. Worth it!

Although it arrived well packed, when I was putting it up, I realised that it was slightly kinked.I persevered (slightly damaging the wall-completely MY FAULT ) I'm pleased with the end result.Just what I wanted (minus the mark on wall). Not sellers fault,I could of sent it back.All in all, I'm pleased that I have it. Quality of the material of it is good and it looks stylish.Would recommend.

I purchased these specifically for black out blinds to block light better in my bedroom and they work perfectly! The curtain can wrap around the side of the window making my room very dark. These are also high quality with a nice finish
