ASICSWomen's Gel-DS Trainer 25 Running Shoes

My order replaced a previous Gel-DS-Trainer that I've put more miles on than any shoe I've ever owned. It was a Size 10 and still fits, though it is broken down after years of use. In the new 10, my toe comes to the end of the shoe. The toe box is 'trim' in addition, yet the stretchy fabric makes it comfortable. I have prepared a reorder of a Size 10.5 and a Size 11, hoping one will work for me.

While I love the color and style. The non durable netting allowed for a toe hole before three months. That normally happens with my shoes within five months then I know it’s time to move on. Less than three months durability was disappointing.

Exactly what I ordered and in perfect condition

I used to have ASICS gel noosa triathlon 10 shoes and I loved them!! But they don’t sell the model anymore so I was worried about finding another one I loved. These are great but the tongue wrinkles up and it’s really uncomfortable. It’s wrinkles long ways, like parallel to the length of your foot. It seems abnormal for a shoe as good as ASICS and I’m hoping it’s just this one pair. Otherwise the build and feel are great. I take out the soles as use custom insoles.

I have been wearing ASICS running shoes for years starting with Gel Contend and moving on to Kayano 23, 24, 25. I bought these shoes for everyday wear but I have to say they are disappointing. The tongue is thin and folds under when I put the shoes on. The eyelets are very small round and the shoe strings are big and flat. Very hard to adjust. So I bought new round shoe strings, and they are a tight fit too. There isn't much arch support. I realize they are less expensive than the Kayanos, but did not meet my expectations of what an ASICS shoe should be.

I’m going to be returning these… They do not provide enough stability for me. After a week of wearing them, I am now walking with a limp and have pain from the ball of my foot all the way up to my butt. Another reviewer mentioned that the tongue wrinkles… This is very true! It sounds like a little thing, but it becomes a huge thing when it wrinkles while you’re exercising and causes a bruise on the top of your foot.

These shoes fit perfectly i wear an 8 and that is what i ordered. I really wanted a shoe that is better for supunation or under pronation and the research that i did said these shoes are one of tge best. The are a sturdy shoe without being heavy.

I'm usually between a 7.5 and 8. Ordered a 7.5, had to return for an 8. No issues with return. These shoes look great, feel great, and help me run faster. I wear them for walks with the dog, jogging, and running. So far so good. I'm new to running, so some shin splints, but not at the fault of the shoes I don't think. Laces are nice and hold well. No blisters, easy to break in.

It’s comfortable, I use it for work. In fact bought 2 pairs of this, one blue and gray.
