I purchased two of these beds for my two oldest boys who are 12 and 11 years old. I had to place two separate orders since they charge for shipping for each but it's well worth it. I wanted them to have matching beds in their design. What I like most about the bed is the low profile sturdy design of the bed with the drawers that go underneath without it losing the low profile look. The bed is really sturdy as well! Since we've built them I know at one time my wife and I as well as 2 of our younger children have lounged on them at the same time while they were playing video games. The bed didn't show any sign of weakness and I'm 6 foot 220 lbs myself alone not including the rest of my family that was on it at the same time. They are shipped in one long box that is packaged with care! Both of the beds arrived without any issues or damage whatsoever. Also the gray is nice and elegant. Not cheap looking at all. I definitely recommend this bed!

I bought this frame after the movers destroyed my daughters bed (and many, many other things). I just started assembling it today and I had to stop. They give u a small, weak Allen wrench for it..and it is A LOT to assemble. So I had to use my own tools. Two screws stripped right off the rip. For that much assembling one would think they would throw in a few more default screws. So I’ve had to contact amazon to request they send me more. It’s a lot of work. It better be amazing by the time I finishTwo days now and I can’t get the stupid drawers to come together. I’m over it. I told my daughter to just put the rest in the garage and maybe someone else can do it. I have put a million things together but this…this just straight pisses me off. Not worth it

Read the reviews about assembling woes. Here was my recent experience- For starters, I'm pretty handy with tools. My daughter bought this for her apartment so I had no say in choosing it. First - it does come with instructions, although they are just small images with no words and can take some effort to decipher. Second- there is ALOT of assembling to do. It comes in like 40 individual pieces. Nothing is pre-assembled, not even the caster wheels on the drawers so plan on something like a hour. Most went ok, but for the first section (assembling the head and foot boards,) the screws would not go in all the way despite great effort so they stick out now. If I had a power drill I could have enlarged the pre-drilled holes which would have made life much easier. It was hot and humid for me so that may have swelled up the wood. Trying to get torque with a 3 inch allen wrench is tough..The other weird thing about this is that the drawers don't seem to connect to bed at all they are just drawers with wheels you slide under the bed (there's no track or anything). It took me over an hour of hard labor. The next day, I assembled a desk from Target that had much better fittings, and directions, and it took like 10 minutes-- All in all I would have rather paid a bit more and assembled less.Also - due to the difficulty assembling, this will likely be a bear to break down should she move appartments.

Wonderful and just perfectThis was a great purchase. There are many wonderful things about it there’s extra storage underneath and it hold your mattress perfect. I can’t believe what a great find this is. There’s just one thing that bothers me, it took a long time to put together do you instructions were very complicated for us. It took three people to put the whole entire bed together. But besides that it’s a great bed I recommend getting it for a kid/teen. It goes well in a Big room and A small room. When I first got my bed in the mail, it had been handled poorly in transport so it was broken in several places. I reached out to the company and they sent me a WHOLE NEW ONE, AND it was here in less than a week. This bed supports my mattress and was super easy to put together! A small hiccup did not phase them and they worked with me to ensure that I was satisfied with their product! I couldn’t ask for a better bed frame.

After getting it together it does the job but I would not recommend this product. As you can see from the pictures multiple pieces were broken. (Wood glue fixed one piece.) Two pieces were cut at an angle and too short. Another piece had shoe prints all over it. I don’t have a pic of this but one of the drawers paint is chipped and scratch. ( two separate areas) I do like that the drawers aren’t attached so they slide with ease and are easy for my daughter to mom. However, because they aren’t attached there is a gap in the middle of the drawers. It doesn’t matter to me but the online pics are deceiving FYI. I also called the number to get new pieces; never got an answer and even left a message. No call back. So I just decided to make do with what I had and it worked. I would keep looking this isn’t worth your money.

This is a good product. It is visually appealing and holds up, but it stops there. The issue I came across is assembly.Not all the pieces align, but that is not going to stop the bed from being a bed, just make sure to match the pieces up with other pieces that are closer in length.The slats are raw, and is easy to get a splinter on.The dowels fit loosely.We are still breaking the bed in after putting it together, but that is to be expected.If you are new to tools and assembly, this is not your project. This project is a step away from cutting out materials yourself.I would not recommend it personally because the process outweighs the benefits.
