Dr. Whitaker Ocular Pressure & Retina Defense Eye Supplement

I was diagnosed with a Molecular Hole, and I had to have eye surgery. If the surgery had taken place within a month of developing the hole, they could have saved my lost vision. Since the hole developed 6 months before surgery, the surgeon did not hold out much hope of restoring all of my lost vision. 3 months before surgery I was taking Dr Whitaker's Ocular Pressure & Reina Defense supplements and Vision Essentials Gold, and continued taking the supplement after surgery and still take it. A month and a half after surgery, my surgeon was astounded at how well my Molecular Hole had healed! The doctor was so astounded other eye surgeons were invited into to examine my before and after tests, and then examine my eye. They kept asking me what was the name of the supplements I took? So I told them. The prognosis now is that I will get nearly all of my lost vision restored.......but it typically takes about a year after surgery to get it all back. It has already substantially improved, so much better than before surgery, where I was literally going blind in one eye. I am very excited. I recommend this product to anyone over 65, and especially to anyone concerned about developing a molecular hole, or worse molecular degeneration (which there is no surgical cure for). Don't mess around with your vision! That's what I learned. I'll never go without these 2 products.

I have been taking this supplement for over a year and do think it has kept the pressure in my eyes down.

It took longer than usual for delivery, and the price stays high all the time now.

I started taking Dr. Whitaker's Ocular Pressure & Retina Defense Supplement in Oct 2018. I was told by my eye doctor that I had an IOP of 22 in both eyes and that I should be prescribed eye drops for IOP, potentially ocular hypertension. I asked if there was a nature cure and was told that there wasn't anything that would help. I asked that they monitor my IOP and if unchanged, then I would use the drops. I searched for a supplement and found this one. I was skeptical, but started taking it. After several months, I was starting to feel the difference. My next eye appt was 9 months later and my IOP was 21 in both eyes. I continued to take the supplement and have been feeling better. Just had my latest appointment in April 2021 and still doing well without drops. It definitely has helped for me. It's not a miracle product, but it has had an effect. It's worth the price!

This works. For anyone sitting on the fence about this product...know it works. My eye pressure was 21. Two weeks later, and it's 16. I've tried other supplements that don't work to bring that pressure down, i wanted the pressure in my eyes down as quickly as possible to avoid any more damage to the eye nerves. I intend to keep my vision. Eye exercises help, too. Just taking your finger up and down, side to side, and in a circular motion, and a rectangular motion...white you allow your eyes to follow your finger helps to strengthen the eye muscles. Holding the eye socket between the thumb and forefinger and gently moving the eyeball back and forth helps to relieve that discomfort and feeling of pressure. Initially, I was afraid to touch my eyes much, because I thought I had to "nurse" my eyes. Working the eye muscles and giving them movement is good for the eyes. So is swimming I wish the best possible vision to everyone.

Seventeen days prior to an eye exam I began its use with NO EFECT on my eye pressure measurement. I have another eye appointment in three weeks and I am continuing its use until then. If positive results were delayed, I will amend this message. Some hope still exists.

this is my second purchase of Dr. Whitaker's Ocular Pressure & Retinal Defense. I have an eye exam coming up in July and wanted to again take these eye nutrients daily, for one month prior to my exam to see if they really do keep the IOP down on their own. I take A C Carbamide and Iplex from Standard Process, and have done so since July 2008, I know they work, but would like to know there are other nutrients that will work so I am going to give them the "test". In July, after my eye test, I will write another review to let you know the results. I originally purchased because Dr. David Williams recommended in one of his (wonderfully informative) newsletters, which I subscribed to for many years. The first bottle I took along with my other nutrients, so I couldn't really tell how well they were working. I had an eye test beginning of the year which went very well and the pressure was good. I want to avoid using eye drops and have done so up to now.

This is not a review for efficacy (although I haven't seen my ocular pressure lower and I've been taking twice a day) but for quality control. I found a different pill in my last bottle, I'm not sure what it is but considering this a a product targeted to folks with eye issues it would be good to make sure that what goes into the bottle is what is supposed to be there.
