I love these dishes. I understand they are not real high end china, more like earthenware, price is a bit steep for that but they are beautiful. I have a place setting for 8 now. May order a couple extra later to have extra and make it 10 or 12.

I bought a set of these Spode Christmas salt and pepper shakers for myself. When they arrived, I liked them so much I ordered two more sets to give as Christmas gifts.

The Salt and Pepper shakers are superb and beautifully match the Spode napkin rings, which I also purchased from US Amazon. Delivery to the UK was perfect and everything was securely packaged.

I own 14 place settings of this Spode Christmas Tree Gold china. Every time I use it, my family comments on how beautiful it is. I love serving special holiday meals on them, creating memorable Christmas traditions with my family, and even added some coordinating Christmas Tree Gold bread and butter plates to the formal place settings for our obligatory bread feast at Christmas. While these are expensive, they are certainly heirloom quality. The tiny detail on the christmas tree pattern is almost whimsical if you look closely, but it's extremely classic and timeless. If you buy this, do invest in some nice china storage cases (padded) to protect your investment for the next generation you hand these down to.Note: since there is gold on the rims of these dishes and cups, you probably don't want to put them through a dishwasher, even on the china setting.

I didn't realize there was a gold option for Spode Christmas Tree dinnerware. Loved the gold trim detail. Paired well with regular dinner set.

I just got the bowl and it looks very nice. I liked that the title claims that it is microwave safe. I saw the gold designs and wondered if it is true. Well, I put it in the microwave for 5 seconds and it sparked all over immediately. This is NOT a microwave safe bowl. Since I microwave food all the time, I don't have any use for this bowl. What a waste of the manpower to ship this thing back and forth. Why does the seller put microwave safe in the description? It is bizarre. Just be honest and write NOT MICROWAVE SAFE to save the energy. I am sure plenty of people who don't use microwaves will love this product. My 1 star review is for the listing to change its description.

Another beautiful piece from Spode. A little smaller than I thought but worked out just fine.

I will be keeping an eye out for a cream and sugar from this gold line to go with this pretty teapot. Nice size.
