Fit in 5 yr olds bike easily and as expected. Adjustable to an extent. Daughter loves the light up action! Wheels are durable plastic similar to razor scooter type material. Good deal for what you get! BROKEN 1 year later: nut popped off right side mid ride, fortunately no major injury given the situation. Stripped, unable to repair/replace bolt or nut.

We purchased these training wheels to replace the loud hard plastic stock training wheels on an 18” Schwinn bike. First, we could not get the brackets to fit THIS bike. They were to short and to unstable. We fixed this by putting the new wheels on the stock brackets. Easy fix. Then we tested. These are a hit because they light up. They are a hit in the neighborhood because now we ride quietly. Perfect purchase once the adjustment was made for that dropped a star.

This product is very bad and especially DANGEROUS FOR CHILDREN because it can break and come off while in motion. I bought the product, installed it correctly on the bicycle, and after 5 or 6 uses by my son, always at short distances, one of the wheels simply came off and the bearing disintegrated, causing my son to fall abruptly to the ground. THE PRODUCT IS NOT RELIABLE AND VERY DANGEROUS.

Installed these on my 6 year old's bike for 4 months. Eventually the wheel separated from the holder and came off fully. It appears they are held on by a cheaper piece of slotted metal. The wheel and bearing are intact but there's a piece of metal holding it all together which is what failed. I would have been happier with these had they lasted a bit longer. I love the extra bell and blinking lights when turning which was a surprise extra. Strong metal frames to support lateral motion. eventually it failed by a 5/10 Cent part. Anyone aware if the manuf. has a warranty? Thanks,

Christmas gift for grand, helps him ride his bike much better

Ordered these for an 70lbs 8yr old who didn't want to ride outside but wanted an indoor bike. I installed for normal training wheels use, and then placed old adult shoes under each training wheel, which lifts just enough to lift the back wheel off the ground creating a very stable kid indoor trainer. I was concerned that the weight might be too much for the training wheels but they appear to be built to support even heavier than 70lbs. They are very sturdy and stable and able to use on a bigger wheel diameter than I'm using. My picture is on a 16in diameter wheel. There is two additional holes above for larger wheels and each hole is slightly elongated to allow a more custom height fit. The hardest part was the awkward sitting position required for an adult to install any training wheels and the bizarre paragraph after the actual instructions. I didn't tighten super tight the first time and slowly it became apparent I needed to move the metal stem back into alignment and actually tighten all the way. So even a "duh" mistake was no big deal to notice without catastrophe and easily corrected. Now he's zooming around the house and occasionally using the adult shoes trick for turning into an indoor stationary bike trainer. He's even begun to show interest in riding outside finally. We originally avoided training wheels because of safety and opted for balance bike but that just made him opt out of biking all together for years.

These training wheels are exactly as pictured. Every part came in the mail as ordered. Installation was very easy/straight to the point. You do need to hand wrenches to assemble, it comes with one but thankfully I had one handy. Overall it took me 30 minutes to put them on my daughter’s bike. She absolutely loved them. The bell as an addition was sweet!

These were easy to install and work better on the bike than the ones that came with it. I like that they're easy to put on and have different heights so they could work on numerous bikes. So far no issues, and we've been using them for two months.

Wheels work alright and were easy to install but one doesn’t light up and there has been no response from the seler

Pensé que era de buen material, pero a la semana se dobló y dejó de prender las luces, además de que se mueven bastante se ajustan y se vuelven a mover otra vez, no se quedan fijan y además son peligrosas ya que como se mueven demasiado y mi niña ya se callo varias veces por este mal producto
