Panasonic HHR-P513 Cordless Phone battery

Purchased this for my mother's old Panasonic cordless phone that the battery was constantly draining after about a half an hour, she had to recharge her phone. The worst was when we call her on the home phone, we could never finish the conversation because her phone will die in the middle of the conversation. It was very frustrating. Calling her cell was no use either because of poor reception in her house. Now with this replacement battery, her phone holds the charge for hours.

After buying a "generic" battery with the logo of "G.E." that didn't work (and the company I had bought it from sent me another one just like it, which also did not work), I finally decided to buy the original Panasonic battery for my Panasonic phone. The "G.E" batteries both came with no pre-charge status, and would not take a charge in the phone base. The Panasonic not only was fully charged when it arrived, it was in the original display package. The Panasonic worked immediately! I received the item faster than expected and am totally satisfied with the purchase. Highly recommend buying the original and no knock off products.

Our cordless phone is about 6-7 years old. It is simple to use and reliable. I replaced the original battery with one of the same... twice. Battery lasts about 2 years, but a full charge runs-down quicker as the battery ages.As batteries go, it seems to be a good mid-priced.

I bought this battery for a panasonic phone that is about 10 years old.With it, its holding a charge and it like having a new phone again.It arrived sealed in original panasonic packaging and was not charged. I think this is a key thing to look for. I had tried another replacement that arrived loose in the package and had no markings and was partially charged. It turned out to be no better than the Old battery I was replacing. I'm very happy with this new one.I've been in the habit of always replacing the handset in the cradle. I think that is really not good for the battery as every tiny dischargeis immediately recharged. So I had an idea and I cut the plastic that sealed the battery and made a little shield to put over the cradle contacts. Now I can put the handset away without always recharging.When I notice the battery symbol has dropped to 2/3 I remove the shieldand recharge. Then I replace the shield. I dont know if this is going to make a big difference but I feel like its good for the battery.

Well, obviously, this is a battery and we all know batteries can be hit or miss. And you usually can't tell right away how things are going to go with a new battery over the long term. So I will note that initially, the battery was fairly reasonably priced (assuming it lasts as long as the one it replaced). Though I personally think $5 is a little expensive for a battery for a phone I bought ten years ago. Anyway, the battery that initially came with the phone I put this in (It's a Panasonic phone) was junk right out of the box. That battery was so terrible, in fact, that I put this phone away for many years and didn't use it. The battery I replaced the factory battery with was much better and lasted a long time. I figured I'd go ahead and get one more when that one started giving out. Anyway, I could have gotten a cheaper generic battery so I hope that in this case, price is reflective of quality. There are also batteries here that cost twice what this one does but I thought it was a little silly to spend $12 on a phone that only cost about $30 ten years ago. So lets just say the battery seemed to have a full charge when it arrived (though I charged it for a full day before using it just to make sure anyway). The phone works and we'll see.

I have used this battery in my phone for three months now; it works like a charm. I no longer have to switch phones during long (more than 1 1/2 hours) conversations. I do not know how many hours the battery lasts but I do know I have not gotten the low battery indication since using it.

The Panasonic phone we had worked great for about 10 years. I had purchased a battery for it once. When it went dead this time I purchased this battery online. We put it in the phone for 24 hours like recommended to charge it before use and the handset got extremely hot. The battery looked like the one that was removed from the phone initially. I took the battery out and we'll purchase a new phone. I was disappointed that the battery didn't work.

After our Panasonic telephone lost its charge quickly, we decided to buy a new battery. After pricing the replacement at several stores we decided to give amazon a try. The battery cost half of what we were quoted by the manufacturer and radio shack. We ordered the replacement battery and were surprised as to how fast it arrived. In addition, there was no extra cost for shipping. Needless to say, should we need to replace it again in the future, we will go through amazon right away.

We have an older model of a Panasonic cordless phone. I had a hard time finding one that would fit and finally found this one and it works great! Holds it's charge so I don't have to worry if it's been off the base for awhile.

Arrived ahead of the date expected. Works like a charm.Instructions were great. Was so glad to be able to continue using my favorite cordless land line phone. Has more features than the newer ones so this is great.

Its exactly what I needed for my very old phone (I bought 2 batteries) where I grew comfortable using. Although I had expected it to come in the packaging as displayed, I was impressed by the little note the batteries came with (instructions on how long to charge, when to use, etc) which gave me a peace of mind.It was the personal touch from the note that really set them apart.

Works perfect, but it does not come in the Panasonic package as advertised.
