It runs on a 110V AC current using the uniquely designed pendant-controlled remote. The pendant is connected to the laddervator with a 16 foot cord. EH-500 is extremely portable thanks to its steel frame on wheels and have a built in mechanical brake that will hold the carriage in place if the electricity loses power during operation.
