Good value
Comfortable, works well, easy to use. Sound quality, while quite sufficient, is not as good as I had hoped, but you can't expect too much for less than twenty bucks.

It's cheap, comfortable for most head types and it works very well...what more do you need in a comp-headset?
The title pretty much sums it up. This headset does exactly what a headset should do and at a price that's hard to match or beat. Be aware that this thing is not USB, it uses a split 1/8th inch jack set up with a separate input/output for the headphone jack and the microphone jack. If you have front jacks on your comp and the tower is within a reasonable distance from your keyboard / monitor, this is a pretty easy setup. If you do not have front jacks or if you are one of those people that have your tower tucked far away or behind something you're going to need some 1/8th inch headphone extender cords. The cord on this thing is acceptable, but I would not say that it is long. I can wear this comfortably sitting down, but if I stand up, it becomes a scene from a tween movie pretty quickly.Because this uses the 1/8th in jacks, there are no drivers to install at all, this thing is truly plug and play.I have only used this for general use, for which it is perfectly acceptable and for playing Left 4 Dead with people online. The sound quality of this unit is actually pretty supprisingly good for the price. I have $80 noise cancelling headphones that aren't quite this good. As long as you keep things at a non-hearing-loss volume there is no distortion and you get a great range of sound. The mic pickup is good and response is also great. When I make zombie noises the other people on my team can't discern my sounds from the game and it will cause a wild shooting frenzy. I'm really good at making zombie noises though, you may not have the same skill, but this is not the headset's fault. This unit fits nicely. I have a small head, kind of like Will Smith, and it still fits me fine. There is a lot of adjustment that I do not use so I imagine that this would be a comfortable fit for all but the most pumpkin headed out there. The mic can be swivled to be used on either side, so if you have a dominate ear it can accomidate that. I would definatelty buy this unit again if I needed a second headset for my second head. No problems as of the time of writing this review.

Just Okay...
Sound quality is good enough, but not studio quality. The headphones are comfortable enough, at least for an hour or two of continuous usage. The weight is so light, which is very good.I don't enjoy that it has no volume control of its own, so volume has to be adjusted at the device producting (or receiving) the sound. It also doesn't look durable enough but time will tell.

A good headset.
As some others have stated, the plastic is kind of cheap - and therefore is susceptible to breaking if you abuse it much. As a bit of an audiophile, I was pleased with the sound. I give the sound quality a 4 out of 5 for this price range - it's quite good for $12. The microphone also sounds quite good for this price. I come in crisp and clear to my Ventrilo friends - some of which use much more expensive mics.

Doesn't last very long...
I bought one to webcam with and it worked fine until 7 months (but only about 6 uses) later. Sound only comes from 1 side of the headphones now. I bought a set for my boyfriend 4 months ago and his is now also malfunctioning on one side. It worked well while it lasted, but it's pretty terrible that the headset hasn't even lasted a year. In addition, we have by no means put it to heavy use. So this product IS cheap, but don't expect it to last longer than a couple months before you have to invest in another one. If only I hadn't bought that second set for my boyfriend. What a waste of money.

Good mic, bad headphones.
So let me start by saying that I've had this headset for about a year now. The mic works great, it can pick up people 2 rooms over (provided we both have our doors open). The sound quality from the mic is fantastic, too. However, the headphones sound horrible. I mean, really bad. The headphones aren't meant for listening to music or playing games. It is a very durable product, considering I've had them for almost a year. I recommend buying this headset if you plan on using it in a work environment, such as an office. If you plan on listening to music or gaming, however, I recommend that you buy a different headset, as the headphone quality is horrible from this one.

BOOO!!
So I got these on august 14th and on september the 2nd the earphones stopped working,so I had a mic but no sound. So I think you should either have a back-up pair or Buy a higher performance which is probably higher costing Set.do not purchase the warranty for these it doesn't kick in until after the manufacture warranty expires(1 year) it is like pulling teeth to get the warranty enforced.amazon really should stop selling these disposable pieces of junk.filling the land fills

Highly recommend
I bought these headphones almost a year ago to use with Skype, and have had a great experience. I don't play games on the computer, so can't speak to that. I use a laptop, so the problem of the pieces that plug into the microphone and headphone outlets not stretching far enough is not an issue. The sound quality is like the other person is in the room, and I'm told by the people on the other end of the line that the microphone quality is fantastic, too. I love that the microphone is on a piece of sturdy, flexible wire so that I can position it exactly where I want it. The headband is adjustable, but somehow it doesn't fit my head perfectly. Since I don't jump around while I'm on it, this doesn't matter--at least it's comfortable. I like that the cord is so long, because it allows me to move around the room a bit if I need to get something. The price is fantastic, and you get real quality for it.
