1. To adjust the canopy handle so that the screw can be installed to keep the canopy from falling off the faucet stem splines::: Slowly turn the 3 screws no more than 2 turns and look in the center of the supplied lock to keep the center screw hole visible at all times while rotating screw to screw of the supplied lock until it is tight and the hole for your screw is still visible... Then place the canopy over the lock and screw in the screw to keep it from falling off the stem splines.2. The common question is what to do if my stem screw from the previous canopy is lost??? Well you could go to hardware stores to purchase it to keep the canopy from falling off the stem spines or use a MacGyver solution as all you need is to keep it from falling off the splines of the stem as it works fine turning the splines when in place without the screw..... A. Simple solution if silicon sealant or dap etc. placed around the supplied lock then stick the canopy in place to allow it to dry overnight and your job is now done except for putting the screw cap over the empty canopy facia.... Do NOT use Construction adhesive as not needed and you may never get it apart again... lol...Old 40 yr old bathtub faucet canopies were replaced and they look fine and work great. 1 has the screw and 2 have silicon sealant but you cannot tell them apart as all work just fine without going to the hardware store for the screw... lol...

Danco universal replacement kits used to have everything - this one expects you to reuse the handle screws (hope you didn't damage the heads removing them). Used a Damco kit with plastic handles about 10-12 years ago. Wasn't surprised that the plastic handles only lasted that long, but after seeing this kit will be surprised if the metal handles make it 10 years.When installing put the screw back into the faucet stem before tightening the set screws so you don't attach the inside of the handle off-center.

I think they look great, was exactly what I needed and was pretty easy to install. They stay looking clean and are the perfect size. Thank you

this is a definite-"like"-. the shower middle knob played out ( 3 handle tub shower faucet)-we could not turn on the shower without a pair of pliers. purchased knobs from HD and L's-which were a lot more than this item. We had to return them all, they did not fit. What I like about this item is not only the price, but it is seems to be made to fit any screw and putting it together with the hex wrench provided was even better.Took less than a minute. I thought the screw was too stripped, but it worked- Thanks

My shower handles were broken so I ordered these to replace them so I could stop using a wrench to turn on the shower. I was excited to see them same today and went to instal them. Come to find out this is just to upgrade your Existing handles. No screws come with this product. It uses the existing screws of your old handles. As my old handles did not have screws this product was useless to me. Please be advised want to buy this product that you need the existing screws

I have been looking for replacement knobs for a BELANGER laudry faucet. The valve shafts are too large for most of the affordable replacement knobs I could find locally. These knobs, with the universal adapter are well designed and should works with most faucet.Good buy!

It won’t last just temporary solution

The idea is great but the kit comes without top screws and the old ones (from the old handle) are too short. I would say WOW! and put 5* if the manufacturer include all three SAE types of screws and the metric one as well with a proper length.In my case I have to turn the adapters by hand without installed handles because the old screws do not reach the cartridge when new adapters installed. If I do not find the necessary screws than I will have to replace cartridges and the having this universal handles does not make sense as I can just buy a kit of cartridges and handles...
