I suffer from anxiety and this weighted heating pad is THE BUSINESS! The weight is perfect, I don't feel like I'm being smothered. And the heat options are wonderful as well. I definitely recommend, and also applaud them on fabulous customer service.

PROS:Very soft and pleasant materialThe separate power cord is small and compact. You connect that cord to the pad and zip the connection inside. Good design - doesn't interfere.The weighting is very good. It is heavy, the weights are evenly distributed and stay that way. It drapes nicely on my neck and upper back. Good contact because of the weights.The large size is a plusI slept on this pad all night (It shuts off after an hour). It was comfortable to sleep on. (I periodically woke up and easily turned on the pad for another hour.)EITHER:Doesn't get very hot - This has 3 settings: the hottest setting is "medium" when compared to my other heating pads. HIGH on this is equivalent to MED on other heating pads. Personally, I put this in the PRO category because I can leave it on my neck for a full hour and it doesn't get too hot. If you want to spread this out on your bed and lay on top, . . . you may put this as a CON as it doesn't get that hot.Also, heats only in the center. The pad is cool 2" around the perimeter. I put this in the PRO category because of the way I like to wrap my neck and upper back. If you're looking for heating to the edge, it doesn't do that.CONS: Depends on what you want to use this pad for . . . I like it.

I bought this heating pad because after I had Covid in 2020, my period cramps had become mind numbingly painful. I used a friend’s heating pad and while I was at her house, I purchased this one from Amazon in March 2021.When it arrived, it did it’s job and eventually my cramps would become less painful, but still ever present. At the absolute same time I was dealing with breathing problems from the 2020 Covid infection. I went to the doctor for over a year and they could not find what it was.After way too many doctor trips, in February 2022 my pulmonologist realized I had what is referred to as “slipped rib syndrome”; it’s rare and very hard to diagnose. It gets mistaken for other things and at one point my doctor thought I was making the pain up. Essentially, I coughed so hard I broke a rib.Luckily, it has no long term health consequences associated and it can heal on its own. My doctor told me heat therapy and a brace are effective at addressing the issue, and I was happy to have this weighted heating pad. I’ve used my heating pad every day since February 2022 for hours on end to relieve the pain. It’s been 5 months straight and I am finally having less painful periods. I can feel the rib moving, which is a very weird sensation. Once you know what that “feeling” is, you can’t mistake it!I really have a fear of burning my house down with one of these, so the automatic timer comes in very handy. I think it shuts off after about an hour. The weight isn’t too heavy, but definitely not something you could travel with. The pressure is also a great pain relieving component. I also like that the heat can be lowered or raised!I thought it would’ve given up because by now bay-bee! I have really gotten my moneys worth out of it and then some. Matter of fact, I’m laying on it right now! Whatever your pain need is, I’m sure this product can aid you.

Overall, I’d say this is a great heating pad. The weight is great and the warmth is perfect. I like that there’s one button for all heat settings. That said, I’ve had it for about a year and it has broken several times. It just stops working randomly. My husband took a further look and the wiring inside of it is not the greatest quality. The wires disconnect which causes it to stop working. Thankfully, there’s a 5 year warranty. I just ordered my first replacement and it was a super easy process. Customer service was great. I’m looking forward to my replacement unit and hoping that the wiring is better in this one.

I love this XL weighted heating pad, it’s so cozy and warm. I’m ordering the smaller one now too so I can have both, one in each room of my house since they’re so comfortable. I love the multiple heat settings so I can adjust it to be less hot so my dog can snuggle up with it too.

I purchased the heating pad for a gift with the intention of purchasing one for myself soon. I liked the concept of it being weighted. The price point for the quality of the product I received was great. The size of it was perfect as I was interested in as close to full body pain relief as I could get, upper portion full body that is. I look forward to ordering one for myself soon.Addendum: I received the second one and was disappointed. I’ve purchased a cheap drugstore heating pads that got hotter and the entire pad heated up. The cover is nice and the weight is great. The concept is a good one but it’s no better than a $12.99 drug store heating padUPDATE: I have back issues and my first use of this heating pad was on my shoulders. And as stated in other reviews, the beads were not evenly distributed so heat coverage was uneven and not satisfying. But my back started bothering really bad so I laid flat on my stomach and had the heating pad fully extended on my entire back. After 30-45 minutes, I had the best back pain relief I’ve ever had that wasn’t related to a shot or drugs. I still think it’s too expensive for what you get, but this is my last addition to this review and I wanted to be honest because I rely on honest product reviews.

The blanket is huge and gets very hot. It has two lower settings and plugs directly into a wall outlet. The fabric is smooth like a suede feeling.

It’s a pretty small heating pad and the beads make it fairly lumpy, but as it turns out the low heat level and heat-retention of the glass beads mean that it’s a perfect small cat sleeping pad for my 19 year old cat. She gives me the hairy eyeball if I try to use it now, so I might need to get another. I haven’t been able to teach her to turn it on by herself yet (if cats can press talking buttons, I’m sure she can trigger this one) but she meows until we come turn it on for her several times a day now. My main complaints are that I can’t tell what the heat settings mean (red white and blue aren’t obviously a low, medium and high, and there’s little difference anyway) and that it’s very small. But, like I said, it belongs to the cat now, I think she gives it 5 stars.

When I went to try it for the first time, less than a week after ordering, it did not turn on. I emailed to inquire about replacing it, as there is a warranty. The warranty stated I needed the original packaging to make a claim and I had gotten rid of it already. I recieved a very prompt response from Abby asking for extra information and once I provided it, was informed that a new pad was already on the way and that no further action was required. I recieved the replacement very quickly and tested it this morning. It works like an absolute charm. It will do wonders on my menstrual cramps and my and my partner's tight shoulders. Thank you for the excellent customer service and wonderful product. I searched for HOURS to find another brand with 6lbs of weight and this is the only one. Now I just hope it has a good lifespan because it will get a lot of use in this house!

Liked that its a decent enough size.Disliked that it seems slow to heat up, but gets pretty warm.Disliked that it has no real temp level control, just three levels hot, warm, mildly warmDisliked that it goes off quickly ; 1 hour only timer is really not enough for me, have to put it back on at least once more ; should have a 1-2-stay on feature AND a temp # 1-2-3-4-5-6 like every other heating pad almost universally.

I am purchase this heating pad 2 years ago and was worth every penny.

The colour is beautiful, the length is wrong I ordered the big one for a reason. It does not heat well at all unfortunately. The weight is nice. But it doesn’t help if there is no heat for aching joints. I only give it a rating of 3 because the colour is so nice.
