14 Inch Camp DO Tote Bag,Black

I do quite a bit of campfire dutch oven cooking, I have an 8" 2 quart, a 12" 5 quart, and a 12" 8 quart camp dutch oven from various MFGs including Lodge. I have a 12" Camp Chef bag and it always left me feeing, insecure about the protection of my Dutch oven and / or my camper. The Lodge bag for my 8" is made with VERY nice heavy polyester nylon type material, with super rugged nylon webbing straps, and a good amount of dense foam padding. The Camp Chef was padded, but not like this! The zipper operating is very smooth with no worries of it slipping a tooth or getting bound up, and the velcro to hold the handles together is very nicely attached. All the important stress points have reinforced stitching. If you are worried about the legs of the camp Oven getting damaged, or poking through the bag you have a couple of choices. Choice 1 you can make a plywood disc with recesses for the legs to protect them and the bag. OR Choice 2 you can put the lid in first, with the lip / handle side facing up so that the DO legs rest on top of the lid. This will of course protect the legs and bag as well. I have every confidence that these bags will help protect my cast iron, and my camper for many years to come. I only wish they made somthing similar for the Lodge Multi Cooker...

I bought both the 12" and 14" Camp DO tote bags and I am impressed with the quality of workmanship. Some reviews have stated that they are concerned that the legs might poke hole through the bottom, over time. A simple solution is to put the lid in first, handle side up then put the Dutch oven on top of the lid, zip the zipper and Velcro the handles together and the problem is solved. I highly recommend these as they fit the deep dish DO as well. keeps them protected and easy to carry. I just wish they made one for my 20" DO as well. ;-}

We purchased this to store and carry our two NuWave induction burners in. They fit perfectly with room for a protective layer between and on top. It seems seem well made but we haven’t tested it on a trip yet.

The zipper is solid and the material is thick. This will be perfect for travel and truck camping.

Nice sturdy product.

Works great but the legs over time could wear through the bottom I put some rubber leg pads on mine that or removable or you could put a pice of plywood . I have several of these.

I use this when transporting my Dutch oven in my pickup camper. I think it will be fine. My concern is if it is breathable for when winter comes.

Excelente para el horno holandés de 14, bien bien acolchado en los muros y el fondo, pero la tapa no tiene nada de acolchado, las correas son resistentes pero me gustaría que fueran más largas para un agarre más cómodo, el zipper es durable.

Works like a charm and nakes transporting my dutch oven much easier.Knowing that after it is cleaned, it will stay clean.I added a small frying pan to the top of the oven. Fit is snug and I hope I do not ruin the zipper with additional piece.

Excellent Quality. I can fit in my 10.25 inch Dutch oven and all the accessories I bought. Will come in handy. Happy to find a sturdy bag.

Have to buy another. Great protection for storing and travelling with your cast iron.
