Best robot vacuum value
I’ve purchased Max for a month so far and he’s been doing a great job! I have hardwood, carpet and area rugs at my house and two floors. Max can clean my whole house at a time and does not need charging. The dustbin is large enough to contain dust and I don’t need to clean out the dustbin while he’s cleaning the house. I can see the map clearly from Trifo Home app and know how he’s doing. Connecting it with Alexa is really cool and I can easily tell Alexa to turn on Max, then it starts working. Much better than vacuuming by myself and saving a lot of time!

Do NOT buy - disposable vacuum
We really liked this vacuum. Once we got it and started to use it, we wondered why we didn’t get a robot vacuum years ago! It even inspired us to buy another one (a much cheaper, Coredy brand) for our RV! But, we have now had this Trifo less than a year and the battery life dropped quickly to only have about 5 min runtime. We tried contacting the manufacturer (emails and calls), but they gave us the runaround and when they finally actually got back to us, they said there is nothing they can do. They won’t sell us another battery. They suggest we bring it to a repair shop and spend hundreds for those guys to easily replace the battery for us or “just purchase a new vacuum“!!!!! What!? After spending $400 on a vacuum 10 months ago, the company won’t stand behind their products and suggests we just buy another one from them!? Wow. I was not expecting to be purchasing a disposable vacuum. Don’t waste your time or hard-earned $ on Trifo. Go with Coredy or another cheaper one that works just as well even AFTER 10 months.

Update 1/2021 - Broken first week- but the company made good
See below about what I wrote. I need to update - Since I wrote this (actually the same day so they had not yet seen my review) they emailed me to say they were replacing the unit. The new one works fine, it does not like very long hair, and once in a while it it has trouble getting onto the dock, I think it is because it is in a small space, but its fun to watch it give up after a few attempts. once I moved the dock to a less cluttered area it was fine.Here is the old review.************************************ My unit broke the first week, I sent it back in March and still have not seen a replacement, it's September. I find it odd that I can purchase a new one when the excuse I get is they cannot get into the warehouse during lockdown.I also have a concern about the security, this unit streams video to a smartphone, how secure is that stream, who else can see it?

Does everything but clean and start
Extremely frustrated with customer service. I have had this Max for about three months and have gotten it to successfully start after alot of praying and cursing 3X. . It is not reliable and 98% of the time will not start cleaning. They also should tell you that the app does not connect with 5G. Customer service wanted me to re-configure my Wi-Fi to a slower service. Are you kidding me. I need to change my Wi-Fi so I can get this thing to work. Apparently they never thought anyone would just want to use the buttons to clean on the physical robot. It also fell down my stairs. I have had a Corey and a Deebot and Comedy and neither fell. Nothing like throwing your money out the window and customer service is dense and useless.

Max works well but I have used others that work better for less money.
Max worked great at picking up dog hair and dirt. His battery life is long and he’s sturdy. Main downfall for me was the vacuum has trouble rolling onto a very flat, thing rug and I have to get up to move him.

Good product but received a used product thrice in a row
The product itself is quite good. I haven't used other robot vacuums, but this one did what I expected. Its vacuum power is sufficiently good and its navigation is excellent, covered my entire house (7 rooms) in single battery charge in around 70-80 minutes and didn't leave any area unclean. At times it goes over same areas twice but I figured out it does that because in the first go it left out a slice of it.The app is reasonably good. It doesn't remember the map for next use so you cannot use this robot to define no-go regions. However this is not a LIDAR based robot, its a camera based one and at a reasonable price. So you can't expect it to do what robots twice its price do. However the benefit of the mapping system was that you can figure out if it left any slice of your room and how much it has covered. Once it has completed entire house, it will recreate map the next time. I don't see any disadvantage in that. A problem that happens with robots that remember the maps is that if on first day you have a box which it avoids, next day even if there is no box it will avoid it because it remembered the map.Mopping functionality is not a primary feature of this robot. I didn't use it as the tank is very small. However it might be useful sometimes if you desire to mop a particular room.I would like to tell about my "mop test" . I cleaned a room with Trifo and another room myself with a broom. Afterwards when I mopped, the room which I had cleaned with broom had much more dirtier water than the room I mopped which was cleaned by Trifo.I will now come to the problem. I used the device only once because when I received it the seal was broken. I called up the customer care to enquire about a feature and casually mentioned about broken seal and they asked me to return the robot. Their suggestion was genuine. I don't know who used the device earlier and for how long. Whether it will malfunction soon or not ?I raised a request to Amazon and upon uploading pics of the packaging which I had taken before opening the box they agreed for a hand to hand replacement.The replacement was worse than the first one. Not only was it a reused product with seal broken on the box, its mop attachment was missing !Amazon doesn't allow third replacement for same reason and they refunded the purchase to me.I ordered same product third time and unfortunately this time too it was a used piece with seal broken. this time I took a video so that I have proof.You can see the first product, second product and the third one. Notice that the second one is without mopping attachment.Why did I persist for so long, going even till the 3rd replacement ? Because I liked the product and it did what I expected it to do.I will try one more time and I'm sure if I get a brand new packaged product, I'll keep it. Its a real Value for Money productI was fourth time lucky , got a brand new pack piece . It goes around awkward areas like corners behind the sofa too. I just love it the way it cleans where even maid wouldn’t have gone

Vaccum cleaner that moves around.
After 6 months of use, I have renamed him from Max to Lazybones. This is my first robot. So I don't have any thing to compare it to. One needs to think of it a vaccum cleaner that goes around. One need to manually remove obstacles, clothes, toys from its path.In my honest opinion, it's best after one sweeps and cleans the floor, this machine can improve on the work done. On its own, one gets tired waiting for the work to be completed.Pros# Suction power is very good.Cons#- The machine doesn't have memory. So map created is lost when powered off.- if Power at home fails, the machine immediately wanders around looking for its charging station.- If its another room, it doesn't know how to get back to charging station- Has only one brush in front.- Customer care number doesn't help.- Schedule cleaning will work only with WiFi ON.- There is no demo for App available.- Virtual demo is name sake.- Wiping function is name sake. The water container is 80 ml which is too tiny.- Just tangled on everything possible. So don't plan to be in office while this cleans.- Also note Amazon doesn't allow to return electronic itemsTrifo stopped manufacturing these type of rotating brushes for replacement. Now the ones send are without the rubber extension on the bristles. So when it spins, th bristles get tangled up. Especially if there is a rug or hair on the floorThe support team understands the issue, but has no solution.It has been a terrible decision to buy this machine.

Good for brooming but not recommended for mopping.
After 3months usage i am writing this. Things that are good about this:Does good job in cleaning house. Picks up lot of minute dust particles which manual brooming cant pick.Tries to cover every nook and corner of the houseSuction power is good even if its set to 50 percent.Disadvantages will be :Only young people or techies can operate it with ease. Its difficult for normal people. Since most of the operations are controlled using mobile app.Once it gets stuck under some furniture or some wire gets stuck if u turn off the machine and clear it up and again place on the ground sometiems the map doesnt locate its position. It starts to clean all over again. Thats annoying if this happens when its done about 80percent of its work.The mop feature is just namesake. The water tank is so small that it can clean just a 10x10 room. We need to spray the whole house with floor cleaner and not rely on its tank. But the mop programming is kind of wierd. It goes over and over the same area agaun and again. Finally verdict is you can buy if you have big house and maintain with this to a decent extent without depending on maid. For mop you need to arrange.something. worth the time and money fpr sure for day to day brooming provided you are good in technology wise.

Robot is good, but mopping is definitely bothering
Liked: suction, vacuum cleaning, auto path finding & docking.Disliked: I ran the robot for approximately 10-15 times of complete floor cycles (in whole apartment) for mopping & cleaning completely.Initial Response: the connectivity with app, initially it was too bothering, the app operation triggers were taking hours for robot. apparently, after 1 day of use (after 10-12 cleaning cycles), it seems fine.water tank: seems like it’s not there, such a small water tank (100ml), water runs for like 2-3 minutes and water tank drained. I spilled water on floor on many areas to clean entire apartment.mopping: during mopping many times the robot wheels get stuck while it goes back due to the mopping cloth clogging (seems they’ve not tested it well for mopping)

Best in class robot vaccum !
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using it for a month now. I’ve bought this after doing a lot of research. It has the highest suction power and battery backup over it’s competitors. The home video surveillance just adds up to the already existing pros. App functionality is also pretty good . The real time mapping also works perfectly fine although i would’ve wished the option of saving the maps. It excels in both vaccum and mopping. The only con is the water tank is just 100ml which covers just 1 room , so that’s a bummer would’ve atleast a 300ml tank. It easily covers the whole house without draining the battery which is a huge plus point and the suction power is best in the segment. I would definitely recommend this product. And finally this has got a great customer service support which was the main reason i opted for this robot as service and support is very crucial when we go for this type of next gen products.
