Spy Gear - Video WalkieTalkies

My kids love this! The video and audio work great throughout our 2 story house. I think the other one on amazon that has the blue buttons may be a different manufacturer because we have had no problem with these. Had to get 2 sets for all 3 children. They love them. The only downside is they seem to have raised the price since I last bought it. Often toys like these are maybe $40 less but they don't work or the sound is so poor or the range is confined to one room. I guess you get what you pay for. These work.

First set did not work, but Amazon accepted it as an exchange and sent me a new set. The first set would not sync to one another no matter what we tried. The replacement set worked so well! The kids were so excited and loved it! It even worked when the kids were about 300 feet apart! We did not experience any of the static as reported from others.

Very cool walkie talkies. I wish I had these as a child. They are very easy for kids to use. The video quality is fine. They do not like low light conditions but that's being picky for the price point these are at. The audio is actually pretty good. Better than most walkie talkies but not perfect. Not an issue though. Only took a star off because the "SPY" mode doesn't do exactly what it says. In spy mode the screen is supposed to go black but instead it is gray and appears on. The idea is the thing is supposed to appear completely off. Not a big deal though. They could definitely address that or they shouldn't state the screen goes black when it doesn't do that at all.

First I am a 44 year old man with 3 children. The youngest a boy of 13. And I can say he MAY, may get to play with these. They are so awesome. Granted you can facetime on a phone, But for a child of the 80's These are awesome. Especially for Walmart, The Mall or anywhere they block cell signals. I can't get a bar on my 4G phone in the store But I can talk to my boy 500 yards away with these. They are as simple as install total of 6 aaa batteries. Cut on press pair button and talk. I paid $40.00, I would have paid up to $60.00. Definite go to for the holidays.

Don't waste your money. I should have returned them for a refund, but it was past the return date by the time we put them to their intended use, which was for my son to use one and our neighbor's children to use the other. They work reasonably well if you're in the same house, but even in my mother's house, which is 25 feet from mine, you can barely obtain a signal to talk and the view screen is shaky. Our neighbor's house is across the street, well within the distance promised, and we've tried repeatedly, including standing in the driveways, and can't receive any type of audio or visual signal. They are a total waste of money!

They work really well but dang do they eat up some batteries. You'll lose even more money just keeping up with the battery intake on these, just not worth it honestly.

I was totally blown away at how great these worked. It's a toy!! ... My grandsons live in a 4 story row house and the reception was great. The video was more than expected, like face time on an old flip phone. I think they enjoyed flipping them up and closing them to a size that fit in their cargo shorts pockets. We took them to their favorite park to test it out. I was surprised they worked at a longer distance than expected.

Amazing walkie talkies!!! The picture quality for a toy is amazing. The range seems to be a couple hundred yards of so. But its enough for my son to have a great time with. They were impossible to find in the store so Amazon to the rescue. They are a little expensive relatively speaking considering its a toy. But they are much better than I expected. If you kid wants them you will not be sorry you bought them.

I got this for my 8yrs old nephew and he is pretty happy with it. Video quality is good.
