A little over two years ago I was nearing the 400 club, my max deadlift was 365lbs. and I weighed 180lbs. I was learning how to Ollie, I really liked hitting the bumper plates three times a week, then I got sick, esophagus problems, lost all my muscle, I'm at 140lbs. right now, embarrassed to go to the gym, I got these so I can lift at home and get my weight before I go back and see all my buddies, it's a perfect weight for me, I can barely get the 65lbs. up, clean & press Lol...I thought there was a large metal disc in the center but its white plastic, that might put them over 10lbs. they're plenty strong enough to support the 45lb. bar while you're working out, but I wouldn't leave them sitting on the ground overnight, they might limp over in the summer, I set them on a crate in-between sets, not that it needs it, I just want to make sure they stay pristine. I'm cramming the protein and ice cream banana berry shakes, it won't be long, I'll be buying some forty-fives! Hell ya!!! =)

Valor bumber plates are ok far what I need em for has strong rubber smell maybe in a few days that rubber smell will go away but overall good rubber plates.

Material is of good quality and appears long lasting. The color stripes are perfect for identifying weight without being too obnoxious. These are easy grip when loading-unloading due to a bit of a raised ridge around the inner edge. I looked over many other brands and types before purchasing. Overall the quality and price made these a buy for me. Delivery was also quick and without issue.

Very well made and quick fulfillment/delivery. The weights were separated during shipping but my request to Valor was responded to immediately and they were delivered the next day. These bumper plates are great and can do it all. They look even better in person.

Keep it outside for 2 days after arrival to your home in order for the smell to go away. Its rubber and it's in the box so obviously there will be a smell. Otherwise looks great and buit well.

These bumpers are made very well but they are deceptively listed. I searched for "Competition" plates, which usually have a metal plate on each side to help avoid cracking around the ring and that's why I wanted 10 lb competition bumpers, so the members of our gym could drop BBs loaded with only 10s without cracking the plates. These do not but TBH I don't think it would matter if the ring was sized for standard Olympic BBs. They fit very loosely so there is a lot of side-to-side slop and side-to-side bouncing when the BB is dropped. They look as great as they do in the pic and if they would fix the ring sizing issue, I'd outfit my whole gym with them. I was looking to replace 30, 10 lb bumper plates and took a flier on these cause of the great price. If you never plan to drop the BB, get these, but they are not competition plates IMHO.

Was informed these were 1 dollar per pound. When purchased it stated (sold as a pair). Recieved 1 plate which equates to almost 3.5 dollars a pound. Rip off.

Absolutely did NOT meet expectations. When the box states there are 4 10 lb weights and the box was only ever big enough for two, I think that's fraud. However, Amazon did rectify the situation.
