DISCOUNT STARTER & ALTERNATOR Starter Replacement For Honda Civic 1.8L 2006 2007 2008

I was hesitant at first, especially since the price was under 100 dollars. I needed a new starter and being short on cash, I went for it.Replacing it on my civic was a huge pain in the rear, but once I got it on, it started like a champ! I would recommend it! However this is just my experience, I have only had it on for a couple of days. We'll see how it goes.Pros:PricePricePriceCons:None except that it wasn't free.

I have had this starter in my Honda 2006 Civic for a few yrs now and it is still working great. Zero issues. Great deal and product!!!

installed and worked properly

Seems the starter solenoid fried, not great especially with how difficult a job it is to pull the starter on the 2008 Honda Civic. How do I pursue the warranty on this?Update: I tried getting them to honor the warranty, they would not, essentially saying since I installed it myself that there could be several other reasons the starter failed. I'd guess that most people buying a starter on amazon are planning on installing it themselves. I paid full price for another starter which I installed and is working great.

The price is great, just installed it today and will update review if it doesn't last sufficiently. Solved the clicking starter problem (battery was new)

So far I feel this starter is capable of starting the car better than my original starter mitsuba that came with my Honda Civic and the price is only 1/3 the price the dealer asked and more over I did NOT have to return my old starter which I am keeping it to rebuild it. Thanks Amazon for helping to save all most $300.00 which include the core.
