Solid pack, if you're willing to deal with some QA snags.
Pretty hard to find serious fault with my experience, but there were some issues with my pack that seem to be echo'd in reviews I looked at before I purchased.1. One arm strap, which only cinches at the bottom (not the top as well as many do) didn't properly stay. The buckle at the bottom was too large and the strap just would slip through. 1 Minute of messing with it and I had jerry-rigged a solution that works perfectly fine.2. Thought I had a bad leak. Turned out that the drinking tube connection to the bladder wasn't screwed in properly. Pulling out the bladder to look for a lead made this obvious, and showed how easy it was to disassemble. Problem was solved, crisis averted.3. Chest strap is a legit problem. I'm 5'9" and ~160, which is not chubby or unfit by any means - and the strap either uncomfortably clasped far below my chest (it can adjust down from it's position, not helpful when low already) or not at all in the middle of my chest. If the chest straps could be adjusted up, or the shoulder straps could be adjusted at the upper shoulder the user could fix this fit. Currently I cannot.I bought this for an endurance race as I usually don't carry 3L of water, and in fact - with a little additional on the race I never got near to emptying this tank. If you do this sort of thing a whole lot and don't want to carry any other water, and don't do organized events (where they have to assume you didn't bring any and provide a lot at stops) then this is a great product. Not something to take on deployment I imagine, or to stake your life against, but for a large capacity - I'm going to go out and do things and might not have water - I highly approve for the price.

Great camel-back.
I purchased this product to use for a Spartan race I was taking part of. I had hopes that it would hold up after the 12.5miles+ and I could use it for my hiking/camping trips. The Monstrum Tactical pack definitely held up! Its made of material durable enough to sustain being thrown around while I crawled under barbed wire, sifted through deep water, and all the other crazy stuff I did.Even while full of water and packed with snacks; the pack felt lite and comfortable on my back.I look forward to using it on my hike next week!Suggestions for improvements:1. Add an attachment to the mouth piece cover. I lost it during the Spartan race π2. Make the zippered storage pocket a little larger. One other concern I had, but proved not a big issue:The open pocket. I imagined my belongings falling out. But nothing fell out. I had a small 5hr energy, clif bars, gel shots...and all remained inside.Initially I chose this item because of the water I could store compared to the price. I am happy with my purchase and feel that its a great buy. I highly recommend this item for someone who wants large water capacity and small storage space.

Great capacity, with some small alterations.
Hold a wonderful amount of water for a long bike ride. The cap to fill the bladder is flexible rubber, which gives me trouble closing it without spilling.I haven't had issues with leaking so far, but if you spill it will pool at the bottom of the pack and you will think it is leaking hours later. The bite valve is annoying in that you need to pull it out to open the valve, and the opening was too small for me. I pulled it out and replaced it with a Camelbak bite valve. Now i have great capacity and high flow that is easily accessible. The straps seem a little small to me. Especially the one that runs across the chest. I have it as large as it can go, but it is still a little too tight for me.

Other than that it is great in terms of size and weight and holding capacity
The backpack comes looking just as described. The opening wasn't completely sealed when it arrived so I had to take it apart and tighten it again. The pocket is a bit on the small side but will fit an iPhone 5 but not much more than that. Other than that it is great in terms of size and weight and holding capacity. The straps are a little bit thin but very strong and comfortable. Overall this is a great product that came exactly as expected other than the pocket being slightly smaller than anticipated. 4/5

Holds a lot of water!
Very cool product especially for the price! I like this better than camelbak simply because it is tactical and also the price kills it. I throw this in my hiking pack and don't have to stop for water once. The capacity of water this holds seems to be alot more than any camelbak I've had as well. The only problem it has given me is the straw piece freezing because it was so cold outside. I would only recommend it for tempatures above freezing. I see some people claim it leaks, if you do not seal the bag and cap correctly it will leak because you didn't thread it on right. It is easy enough to do, but also easy to fix by just rescrewing the cap on. This product has never leaked for me unless I put the cap on wrong.

Would highly recommend stuffing it with a few frozen packs to keep ...
Works greats! Has a large pocket in between the straps which is the length of the pack. Would highly recommend stuffing it with a few frozen packs to keep your drink cool.My only issue with the pack are the straps are slightly irritating on your skin. Also, cleaning the pack isn't as easy as some other camelbaks out there. Otherwise, it's perfect and exactly what I needed. Would (and have) recommended to anyone.

the end of the cap that is attached to the bad broke off
For the price, I didn't expect too much but as soon as I opened the cap to pour water into it(on the first day), the end of the cap that is attached to the bad broke off, and it is cheaply put together. Other than that - it does its job...but I would never buy this product again.

On a two day ride in summer the water sayed cool on the inside
Works perfectly. On a two day ride in summer the water sayed cool on the inside, just the water on the hose got warm but you can spill it on your legs or on the road, then comes the water on the bag and it was fresh all the time. The staps may be better with some soft cover or something but still it's quite good.
