As long as they can swim! Assume this one (and any other small kayak!) will flip over. If they are fine with that, then you're good. Small inflatable kayaks (especially ones where the seat is up high like this) flip over sometimes when used by somebody who is not agile (not great at balancing it).

How do I know if I have inflated kayak to the proper amount?

Adjust for temperature change!! Follow the chamber order but if the air temp is 85 degrees F. and the water is 50 degrees it's best to let the kayak sit in the water for at least 15 minutes then check chambers again. Cold temps will reduce pressure and you could end up with a sagging kayak mid stream.
