Must read to fight against aging.
Fascinating book, I believe this is a must read for adults. I've watched his videos and they are helpful to a point, the book brings it home on total understanding. There is some technical information but, he covers the science well. Great book on understanding how the cells age in our bodies and a free way to help the body fight against it. Gives a great break down of how dry fasting can help the body get rid of toxins and build up of unhealthy cells in the body. Well worth the price. You won't find this information anywhere else, certainly not from our disease care system aka health care.

Amazing information about how we can heal ourselves with nothing!
I had no idea what dry fasting was until reading this book – assuming the information referenced is accurate and that the author's anecdotal stories are true, then it's almost too good to be true. I can't wait to try this protocol by safely and incrementally working my way up to a full week dry fast.

Very insightful
I did this fast and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I like how Dr. Dunning explains everything on a cellular level to understand the exact benefits I'm getting from the fast. This knowledge added to my overall resolve. I plan on doing a 5 day fast every six months going forward.

A great introduction to dry fasting
A solid read. Great intro to the subject. Will get you excited about dry fasting. I don't agree with everything the author says. His views on the subject can sometimes seem narrow or dogmatic where I think he actually merely stating a preference of his where other ways of dry fasting are just as valid if not better. That said, the alchemical synthesis of these views is your lived journey and so keep an open mind and explore this topic from people who have interesting things to say.

Our bodies can literally heal itself and giving it the chance to is your choice!!
Great book and in his book talks about dr shchennikov and dr filonov dry fasting. I found an article for dr shchennikov’s 11 day dry fast which I completed in Nov and it has cured my arachnoid cyst, after specialist informed me it’s benign and can still do surgery to take it out. Shave a portion of my hair, drill a hole in my skull and take the cyst out and sew everything back up!!!! I said no thank you and will look at naturally healing it... Our bodies can literally heal itself ans giving God all the glory!! Sadly there is no money to be made in fasting as if everyone would do it, it will tank the economy... Think if everyone was healthy????? 🤔 What happens to big pharma, what happens to hospitals and clinics, what happens to all the taxes that’s collected from all those sales?????? At the end of the day folks, we have to be our own doctors, nutritionist, personal trainer and financial advisors.... All comes down to a choice folks, we are in the age of technology with plenty of information at our fingertips..... Sadly the article for Shchennikov dry fasting is not available on google anymore but it did help cure my cyst and working in healing old injuries as well along with bikram yoga.... Be well and let your body heal itself, “be uncomfortable for a little to be comfortable for a long time!”

Interesting, but controversial and not particularly needed
What I mean by not particularly needed is that most of the effects the supplements would have could be had by eating a nutrient-dense plant-based diet. It has some interesting science-based explanations of how fasting works. That makes this book worth buying, if you need that information. As with most books of this nature (sef help) it could do with editing for concise clarity because it repeats itself rather a lot, on several points. I don't have time for all that! Just the facts, sir! All that being said, I was disappointed when I got to the protocol. I could have just dry fasted for the day I wasted reading it and been better off. And, I don't know why anyone would want to drink baking soda when it is time to get ready to eat again. Baking soda neutralizes stomach acid. Just, no! I think leave dry fasting to the doctors who guide people in it for a living or the religious people who do it without even needing doctors and will also guide people in it, and leave deep space telemetry to NASA and such agencies.
