The Queen, Queen, Queen, and King approve
First let me clarify that we personally do not love this food, our cats do. My husband nor myself have had the pleasure to taste it as of yet. I will say it does not possess the nasty chemical OMG what did I just inhale I might throw up smell the cheapo mystery ingredient cat foods have. I find it super disturbing I used to get a little skeeved if the old food touched my hands - the food I used to feed our cats used to skeeve me out and I kept feeding it to them. There is so much wrong with that on so many levels. We eat right, why are we subjecting our cats to the very 'food' products we avoid? So we stopped and got our cats on the healthy food bandwagon. We have four from ages 2 to 15. They all lost that excess weight from processed food, their coats are shinier (along with probiotics we give them daily), they're more active. It's a clear difference, night and day. And let's face it, that 'other' cat food is just creepy, it's akin to feeding your critters fast food. No good can come of that. This is great food, the cats seem to enjoy it, it's not dry, it's sourced here. Good stuff.

After research, this is the core food for Toby
My male Occi-cat really likes the food. He is on a diet that requires low carbs, higher fat, and protein. The food is rather dry when opened, but my standard practice for any wet food is to add 3 oz of water to each 1/2 can of the food and mix in into the food He eats one can per day for a 9 lb cat.. This seems to serve as the daily source of water for Toby as he does not drink from his bowl of fresh water that sits beside his food bowl. This food has become the core diet for my boy.

Wonderful product, but this time ended up with a bad batch.
I have always purchased my Halo products off Amazon and I am fairly certain that it is always from the same seller, but I could be wrong. The last shipment of canned food I got had some cans that seemed like they were sitting for awhile. I ended up tossing this whole batch out ( I am not going to send it back to have it end up in someone other persons home) because I opened a can that appeared to be okay and my cats were not that interested in eating it and it seemed off in it's appearance, and mind you they LOVE their wet food and especially Halo. I think I just got a bad batch, it was expensive to throw all that out, but I wasn't taking any risks with my fur babies. I just wanted everyone to check their recent can shipment from this supplier as they may have unknowingly sent out some bad ones.

Food was spoiled
I have actually been feeding this food to my cats since they were kittens and they love it. However, the reason I gave this product 3 stars is due to the food possibly being spoiled. this was the first time that I ordered this food through Amazon and will never do it again. Both my cats had bad diarrhea for a week after I fed three cans of this food between the two of them. I know my cats did not get into anything else that would make them sick, so it was obvious that it was the food. I instantly threw out the rest of the 12pk case. No more diarrhea. Be ware when you order food through mail service. The price was significantly cheaper and is why I ordered online, but never again. I just wouldn't want to take that chance. I am still feeding this food to my kitties and have had no issues.

My Purrheads Love It
Halo does such a great job with their wet foods & goes waaayy back to being one of the original producers of healthy, natural foods for cats & dogs. If you've ever tried Spot's Stew with your cat, you'll know how amazing their food is by just the look of it.My guys love rabbit but are picky about the type. They truly dig this to no end. It is a really dense can so I usually add some warmed water to it to make it more soupy. This is a winner with my girls - give it a try!

I am so disappointed by this food
I am so disappointed by this food. We'd recently discovered Halo's Impulse rabbit with greens food. Our cats would fall on it like starving wolves. Halo's site says this is the same formula, but it's very different. It's much lighter in color, and the texture is also different. The previous food was brownish and almost granular in texture. This food is much paler--more "chicken" colored--and very smooth. That alone isn't a problem. The main issue is that the cats don't want to eat this. I had a partial can of the old "Impulse" and had it side by side on a plate with this new food. Cats would eat the old and turned their noses up at this--they'd rather be hungry. I plan to contact Halo to see if I got mis-labeled food. I hope that's the case, because the old food was great and this was a waste of money.Update 10/28I contacted Halo. Even though the web site says it's the same formula, it is NOT. It's the same ingredients, but not the same proportions. There is more chicken than before and they've made it more of a pate. When I open a can it smells like chicken. My cats hate it. And even though Halo is supposed to have a guarantee, they didn't offer to make good on my purchase.

I strongly recommend giving this a try
I have a seven year old female torti who has been facing issues with IBS for several months. Our situation has been dire and I have tried m/d, z/d, sensitive foods, everything imaginable... and this particular brand and type works perfectly... FINALLY! If your pet has a stubborn case of IBS, I strongly recommend giving this a try. It's expensive, but my cat hasn't responded to anything else. I really wish there was dry food with this protein for grazing. The cans are standard larger cans (not the small ones like Fancy Feast). Another important thing to note is that it smells delicious and my kitty LOVES the taste.

Great food for cats
I cannot give you an opinion on the Flavor, (because I am not eating it, LOL), however my cats love the rabbit and quail. I alternate them case to case and I also mix a small amount of Halo and a small amount of Hills urinary for my Tigger who is susceptible to urine infections. They both love the food and I have no trouble with them eating this. I like that it has no artificial fillers. The price of the case I get of 5.5 cans is great and thanks for not out-pricing it.
