This battery operated sharpener is powerful and works great. Didn’t have plug space at this desk, so the battery operated model was just what we needed. About the same size as my electric sharpener, just as easy to use as the electric one, empties like the electric one and sharpens just as fast. Perfect for our needs.

This sharpener works great for a battery operated one! I had a small one before, and this is so much better. It sharpens the pencils fast. I'm so glad I got it, and I love the red color. I am going to get the blue one for my son's room.

Works great and has a large capacity for shavings so you aren’t stuck always emptying it. I also love how it comes in a few colors.

This was highly rated, and overall it works as intended. However, it is lacking somewhat on torque. As you put pencils in, you can feel the motor starting to bog down slightly as the sharpener goes around and around. I suspect it won’t be long until the motor wears out, but until that happens my rating will stay. It sharpens down to a point, doesn’t fake too long, easy to empty the rubbish.

Perfect! My kid is homeschooled and this is adorable, works great, it’s easy to use and portable so she can move it around easily, the size of it is perfect and doesn’t take up to much desk space, the battery life I cannot give an honest review on yet as we’ve had it and still on the original set we put in, and it sharpens pencils and colored pencils very well.

Works great, good value & sharpens as it shoud

I have now received, and returned, two of these because the battery compartment is malformed and will only accept 3 of the 4 required batteries. The second return had clearly been returned before because the blade had pencil shavings on it - so I suppose that means someone was able to insert the batteries! I've used rechargeable batteries, but they all fit in some slot - just not in the end slot, or perhaps, there is a 1mm difference in size between single use and rechargeable AA batteries making the total of 4 too tight. Although Amazon is great re: returns, it is too much of a hassle to make a daily trip to UPS. This is obviously a manufacturing issue, but since so many others have had a successful experience, it is likely recent. Oh well...

This sharpener is fantastic! It's so powerful for being battery-operated and the quality is impressive. Plus, it definitely keeps things much cleaner compared to when my kids use a manual sharpener. I'm really happy with it!
