No sounds or lights : ) !!
It seems sturdy enough, is a good size for my three year old, and best of all doesn’t make noises or have lights! I was pleased with the price of about $14 as well! He’s thrilled with it, as he loves backhoes, excavators of any kind, tractors, and and heavy machinery equipment.I let him bring it inside and out and it isn’t too bad to clean the dirt off of after a hard day of digging outside.

Great digger for the beach
Great for the beach if your child loves diggers! My son had fun with it.

Perfect for Sandbox
These are perfect! I was especially delighted to see them shipped in store display packaging so these would make an excellent gift. The size is perfect for engaging play (cannot pull my toddler out of the gravel pit!). They’re also priced well and it’s great to have toys from real brands. 10/10 would buy more if more models were available

bought for kiddo's christmas... nice for the price
I wanted to pick up something durable for a boy's Christmas present that could used outside to play in dirt and I was surprised how well made this was when it arrived. It has movable parts that will make him so happy for those hours of outside playtime.I remember the old school metal ones which I was concerned would rust over time, so this was inexpensive alternative. Very impressed for the price.

Genius in it's simplicity
I was initially disappointed with this excavator. It feels kind of cheap. Simple, with all snap construction. But I see now that it's genius. My 2 year old son has like ..100 trucks, and this is his favorite. He brings it everywhere. It goes in in the sand, dirt, the bath. It sits out in the sun and rain for days. Gets frozen in blocks of ice. Thrown down stairs, and it still works perfectly. It doesn't rust. Sand doesn't jam it up. There's nowhere in it for dirt to stick. Really it's the perfect excavator toy for a toddler.
