Matisse Fujian Modern Platform Bed 2 Night Stands Queen (Espresso)

This is a high-quality bed, extremely heavy and even nicer than pictured. I should mention, though, that it's not simple to assemble. It took my husband and I 8 hours and it was helpful that my hands are small because some of the screws required placement where there was little room to maneuver. We're very happy with the bed, which adds elegance and serenity to our bedroom.

I'm really torn about this review.For the positives, the bed looks great! Almost exactly as in the picture. The assembly wasn't that bad at all. My parents volunteered to help and the three of us had it ready in less than 2 hours.For the negatives, the quality of the material is really bed - I got a scratch almost immediately after opening on one of the sides and you can see the cheap plywood under. I definitely didn't anticipate that for a bed of this price. I think IKEA beds are higher quality materials than this.There is no space between the bed and the floor - so to vacuum/dust under you would need to take off the mattress.Finally and the most aggravating part for me was the delivery. The delivery firm they used was just so incompetent it made me mad! They called a week in advance and scheduled a time to get the bed delivered. Granted the huge size of the shipping, you clearly need to be home to get it. The time slot was something like 3 hours that I took off from work. 3 hours pass and I get 0 calls from the company to confirm the shipment so I called myself. The shipping company says that they used a local service and that the product is in delivery process but since they contracted another company they cannot give me a time estimate when it would arrive and they don't know (!!!) how to contact the driver of that company to get an ETA! Take that! So disappointed I kept waiting hoping that since it was out for delivery it may get to me by the end of the day - wrong! Long story short it took another full day of waiting to get this bed. No apologies - nothing!Overall, I like how the bed looks so I'm satisfied but it's def not the quality for the price and the customer service on delivery was horrific.

Pictures of it are great. The screws are all very low quality multiple stripped to the point I couldn't get them out. I really don't want this bed anymore but it took so long to put together, will take long to take it apart and get it ready to send back. So unfprtunately i am just going to keep it. Don't buy stuff like this online smh.Update... 2/23/21I like the bed now... my room is pretty cool now that I feng shui'd to my liking. But it's still probably not a great bed, it just looks cool. Cheap material and very creaky from minimal movement as well.

I purchased this bed because I liked the look of it. It has the modern/Zen look that I was looking for. Starting with the assembly. It wasn't too bad. My sister and I put the bed together in 6 hours approximately. The instructions were not very clear & we had to disassemble the bed a couple of times but finally got it put together. Make sure you have the pieces facing the right direction so that you don't have to disassemble. It's as pain in the neck. After assembly, the bed looks very nice. Sleek... just like the picture. However after 1 week of sleeping in the bed I have already noticed a dent on the side panel where my remote control had fallen from the bed. I am very anal about taking care of my things. I didn't know that something so small dropping less than a foot would make a dent but it did. I should have done more research on MDF and purchased the solid wood bed I initially saw at Boconcept. This material is very cheap, dent and scratch easily and way overly priced. If going to spend this much on a bed I would recommend you spend a few more hundreds and invest in a solid wood bed. I have learned my lesson and we'll do better research before purchasing a product online. Again... Nice looking bed...cheap material....extremely overpriced.
