Belkin F5X005 Auto Power Adapter for XM

This adapter is essentially identical to the original that came with my MyFi. That's good in some ways but bad because my original one broke at the end because it's a cheap plastic screw piece that holds a spring. I expect this one to have a similar lifespan so only 3 stars. It works fine though and if you don't pull it in and out of the power outlet a lot (which I do) then it will probably work fine for you.

Does what it's supposed to do. How great is that? The instructions tell me I have to write ten more words. If you can't say anything good in 5 words, what difference will writing more words make? Anyhow, I'm well satisfied with this item. A good deal.

Bought this for a replacement on my Pioneer Inno. Busted my old one in the boat last summer. Someone who shall remain nameless was standing up when the driver gunned the boat. Fell into the wires and pulled the charger sideways and snapped it. Figured I would have to buy an entire new car kit for $80 just to get the OEM style charger. Luckily I found one on here. Works great. Have had for about a year now and no problems.

I ordered 5 more of these adaptors because I do a lot of home electronic projects that require a 5 volt supply. This adaptor is actually a 12volt DC to 5 volt DC (converter) switching power supply good for up to 2 amps. I dissamble the adaptor body (and chuck it) make a modification or two and hook it up.This is the best value you can get for a 5 volt power supply.

My old cord went out on me. I bought a "compatible" one from a local store, but the fit wasn't right. It kept slipping out. So I called the company to order one. They wanted to charge more for shipping than the price of the product. Then I thought about Amazon. Hopped online and ordered this. It was delivered quickly and works/fits perfectly! 100% satisfied.

Shipping wasnt as quick as others experienced, but not slow enough for me to complain about. I was disappointed to discover this charger doesnt work with the XMp3i Portable Satellite Radio. It will plug into the device as a stand alone. However, in the car to use the antennae the cradle must be attached. This plug didnt fit the port in the cradle. :(

Works great, but after a period of time the wire always frays just past the stress grommet. Have to buy a new one about once a year.
