Yotache Magnetic Screen Door Fits 36"x96" Doors, Reversible Side Opening

This magnetic screen is one of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a doggy door solution! It fulfilled all my requirements:• Could be installed directly into the frame of our sliding screen door• Didn’t look like an obvious doggy door• Allowed our dog to still freely go in and out• Prevented bugs from coming into the house.I wanted to replace our old damaged screen and install the new screen into the sliding screen door frame itself. I purchased the black magnetic screen in 36”x 96”, which is a size larger than the recommended size and door measurements. Instead of using the supplied adhesive strips to attach the screen to the outside of the sliding door frame, I placed the sliding door frame flat on the ground, removed the old screen, and aligned the new screen so the magnetic strip wouldn’t be visible from the inside when the sliding glass doors were closed. I used a splining roller tool with the old screen’s splining to insert the new magnetic screen. I kept it taught at the top but left a slight give on the sides and left the bottom of the screen out so the weights kept tension on the screen. I carefully trimmed the excess screen away with a ruler and utility knife. It’s both strong and secure in the frame when the magnetic strips are pushed open to walk through. The screen itself still has some slight creases from being folded up, so I’m going to use a garment steamer on them if they don’t smooth out on their own.This magnetic screen was very easy to install and I it’s exactly the solution I was looking for! I wish I’d found it years ago! I am especially pleased with how inconspicuously it looks like a regular screen door from the inside when the glass doors are closed. Our dog quickly learned how to go in and out, and now we can leave the door open for him without letting tons of bugs in!

If I could give it 10 stars, I would. It solves a problem that I have had - perfectly! I have friends that have this type of magnetic screen that my dogs enjoy using - only they have the standard sized one. I so wanted a magnetic screen for my house but, unfortunately, I have a storm door and an inner door - each opening in the opposite direction so I could not attach it to the outside wall, as most do. I tried using one that hung from an extending pole - and that sort of worked, but the magnet was nowhere near as good as this and it didn't affix too well to the frame of the door. It was better than nothing, but I was hoping for a better solution. This is it!! First, the magnets are super powerful: excellent. They snap right back - securely! Second, you can custom design the opening (side, middle, etc. - any width: excellent! Because I have to still open the screen door at night when the doors are closed, I attached a strap to the door handle and slip it in between the magnetic opening so I have easy access. But best of all you can select any width and length screen. This was the answer to my dilemma. I kept the extending pole from the previous screen and measured the distance to include an extra foot of length. Then draped the screen over the pole and used clips to hold it in place. I only needed 4 binder clips to do the job, and it held up with no issues or adjustments the entire summer. My dogs and I go through this screen with ease! The velcro for this is better than any other screen - once it is on, you don't have to worry about it pulling away (as my other one did) - but at the end of the season, it can be removed. I just can't say enough about this screen - and of course, it keeps the bugs out all summer; and I live in the woods with lots of mosquitoes.

By far the best purchase I have made. Keeping those pesky flys out. It literally does what it says. The magnets are very strong. It’s been up since July, and still going strong. Have little doggies so they are in and out all day. Works great. Cannot say enough about this purchase. Oh and it was very easy to put up. Great product.

Several years ago I bought the same type product and it was junk and priced as such. It’s a great concept, so I decided to try again armed with a little knowledge and experience. I spent a good deal of time reading each product’s details and reading reviews. Ultimately I settled on this company and have been thoroughly pleased with this “screen door”.Installation was a breeze. It’s nothing more than cleaning the doorframe and sticking Velcro strips, which are included, along the edge of the screen. Hanging is peeling the protective paper and pressing onto doorframe. Begin with the top, leaving the protective paper on the sides. Repeat same for the left and right sides. VioláThe screen is very nice, well constructed. The weave is tight enough to keep the mosquitos out of the house but allows good visibility to the outdoors. It hangs well, no sagging and the magnets are perfect strength. They are easily separated to walk through yet strong enough to snap the screen closed behind you. My dachshund is comfortable going in and out at will and he is terrified of the doggie door. Overall I’m extremely pleased.My one start deduct relates to the sizing. I measured the door and bought the proper size and it fits. However, ideally I would add another inch to the vertical (height) as the panel’s bottom sits roughly 1/2 inch above the level of the threshold. The design of the trim above the door doesn’t allow for any adjusting to get the bottom lower. The trim combined with a sloping threshold left a small opening on the bottom. My guess is this is a fairly common thing regardless of door dimensions. I plan to order the next size up when I replace. I just hope doing so won’t create a different issue.I don’t hesitate to recommend

Best purchase in a long time. We have a sunroom and dogs. We like to keep the door propped open so the dogs can go in and out. Birds start flying into the sunroom. We needed something to keep them out. So we bought this screen. Not only does it look good, but it keeps the birds out and the dogs are still able to go in and out. The one thing I really like about it is the side opening. That way the door doesn’t have to be completely open. It could just be propped open a few inches and the dogs can still get in and out. The sunroom has got a metal frame and i was concerned about using the two sided tape that comes with it because I wasn’t 100% sold on the screen idea. So instead, I used Command Strips. The Velcro on the command strip works perfectly with the Velcro on the screen. After the screen was put up, I would feel comfortable using the two sided tape that comes with the screen.The quality is great. No more birds or flies in the sunroom. It fits amazing, looks great and it’s easy to install.

Super easy to install, to make sure all was evenly balanced I did it with my hubby, but its very easy to install and the magnet is very efficient and pet friendly, perfect size. Sturdy, good airflow 🥰💖 we are very pleased with all!

I am so pleased with this screen door. I purchased the style that opens on the side vs. the center. It works perfectly for my condo deck door. Being able to leave the door open and the screen closed keeps all the bugs and bees out of my condo and allows fresh air. It’s so easy to install, super quality and looks and hangs perfectly. I installed it leaving a small gap at the bottom of the screen to my threshold to avoid having it drag on the floor. I’m extremely pleased with the quality. I purchased a different brand years ago and was not happy with it at all because it looked cheap.

Review for tall people because I saw none before this. It’s cool, and does what it says it does; however my head is close to the seam and the flap doesn’t open much. For a family of tall people definitely go with a taller size than your door frame. Definitely have to return or exchange mine

This is a great product at a great price. I have a door leading to my apartment balcony.This fits perfectly in width, a little long in length, but I just positioned it a little higher. Love the side opening because it gives me a great view of the forest from inside. Opens easily and clicks shut behind immediately. Magnets are awesome.Having it in white is so much better than black; matches the white door and trim. Highly recommend.
