Tyre Chuck 2 pcs Air Chuck 1/4 Inch Brass Tyre Valve Connector

Even from when it was brand new my 12 volt electric tyre pump had a slightly dodgy tyre valve connector. Really I should have immediately sent the whole thing back to Amazon for a full refund! Instead I lived with it for over a year until it finally became impossible to use. I knew the electric pump itself was still ok so I didn't want to scrap it and then have to pay another £30 - £40 or more for another new electric pump. For £6, including Prime free delivery, I ordered a pair of these Toolwiz 1/4 Inch brass tyre valve connectors . They arrived the next day. Using a sharp knife it was very easy to cut through the rubber tube where it came out from the broken old connector, which is noew in the rubbish bin. After I placed the clip over the end of the tube I inserted the new connector and tightened-up the clip. As I'd hoped, the pump immediately worked well again. I shall keep the second new connector as a spare but they are so well made I doubt I shall ever use it myself - it would be good to give to friend or relation if they ever need to replace a broken tyre valve connector!

This fitting works as described and very easy to fit & remove when finished with.

Both of my main compressor on the workshop and plug in compressor in the car needed new nozzles, they work really well, I'm going to replace the compressor for the car for the screw on type, I'm more used to them.That said these are well made and I'd recommend them.

Does the job

I had mixed feelings about this product based on some of the reviews but thought for the price, what the hell. The product feels well made and fitted onto the end of my electric air pump tightly. Much easier to connect onto the tyre than trying to screw the air pump hose on. However, when you come to inflate the tyre, the pressure gauge on the air pump does not show the right pressure. It seems to measure about 10psi less than the actual pressure so you have to check the pressure with an independent hand pressure gauge. So I give it 3* on this basis. It is a pity it is impacting the gauge on the air pump by so much.

Very good quality ends for tyre inflators and not too expensive.

Works as expected. The brass part and chuck are great. The clamps are useless Chinese crap which I had replaced with actually working usa made clamps.
