Well worth it! Saves time and improves accuracy. I purchased a bunch of other countersinks before buying this Amana Countersink. The others found their way to the trash after quickly breaking or giving very disappointing results. The build and material quality of this tool are top notch. Its separately adjustable drill bit and countersink depths let me make perfect and repeatable countersink holes quickly.

This countersink works well. My only complaint is that you need several for different size bits. Therefor is it very expensive for a single use device

Seriously great tool adjustment is easy with the included hex key. Drills super fast and clean counter sunk depth is on point.

If you need to counter sink your screws, this is the tool to use. The design prevents the counter sink from marking up your project. I'm really not a fan of Allen wrench set screws because they have a tendency to slide, and they are really difficult to tighten without stripping the inset. But these don't seem to have that problem. I can easily tighten the set screws without any issue. The depth stop is easy to use and remains firm without slipping. I don't like how they only show the depth adjusting screw side of the bit, they should show both sides.

This functions well but snapped in half after only a few dozen uses. Why they would engineer a hollow part that is the foundation of this product is beyond me. Very expensive for something that is made with subpar parts. 🙄

This is a great tool for fast consistent counter-sinking screws and it leaves no marks when it bottoms out. Expensive but worth it if you need to do a lot of counter-sinks. A note - the diameter of the counterbore is the same on all the different models (3/8"), it's the size of the pilot hole bit that changes depending on what size screw you want it for. So if it's a #6 or #10 screw, the counterbore bit will be 3/8" and you adjust the height of the stop to control the diameter of the counterbore hole in the wood.

Easy to adjust for precise drilling. Great!
